I think I played the gamemode this was made for back in the day before GMOD had toybox and then workshop.

Was the gamemode officially called FalloutMod? I remember it being called Aftermath.

Also, believe me or not, but i was in seek for your this exact map, 'cause i have some nice memroeis with it maded in Radioactive SandBox and usual SandBox as well from ~2011-2013 in Norilsk, when i was very young...

@KEKSquad I've been working on digging up all the source files for my old mapping projects and trying to get them in one place. I'm not sure I still even have the source for this "V1" of Aftermath, but I do know I was able to find the Night and Day versions. Keep an eye out there, I might publish something soon.

This map isnt showing up in my map list... any idea why?

Gmod already has all hl2 props and textures. the only thing that could be required would be either Ep2 or Ep1. Oh and i cannot forget the cursed CSS.

instead of HL2 which is a waste of money why not use fallout props and models and other things that don't require any games which cost money?

This isn't the only map btw, also I tried manually mounting the games I listed below in the mount.cfg, no luck. I tried reinstalling then verifying, doing a clean install by deleting gmod folder. Nothing so far. I need help!

I have all the games required to run Gmod at max capabilities. HL2, HL2:EP1, HL2:EP2, HL2:Lost Coast, CS:S, CS:GO, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, but the store refuses to let me purchase TF2, it says I have it in my library but it is not there, I am sharing my library with my close friend. I love your map, but it's impossible to place when the map looks like a bomber flew over and dropped a bunch of errors. Let it be known there are NO missing textures, only ERRORs where I believe there would be rocks and trees

Please help, I used to play this map on my old pc but it had multiple blue screens, and after fixing problems, it finally died broke years later. It was a 2010 HP with some upgraded parts. Now I'm using a HP laptop with above recommended requirements for Gmod. Now onto my problem, in the subway station there is an error next to the collapsed entry tunnel to the left of spawn in the subway. THEN when I go outside, the map is carpet bombed with errors, I believe they are trees and rocks that are now errors.

For some reason the air nodes won't work for me! The gunship just stays in it's spot

@A.G.E.I.S: Unfortunately I do not believe the original FalloutMod is still available. There are many other Fallout-style roleplay gamemodes available now though, and keep an eye out for Endure, the spiritual successor to FalloutMod (made by the same team!)

@Exodus Monsoon: The map is very bare-bones in terms of additional components installed and is optimized for performance. If you're experiencing crashes, you should check to make sure you are not experiencing any conflcits with other add-ons. To do this, uninstall any recently installed add-ons, and re-install Aftermath. If unsuccessful, try uninstalling ALL other add-ons, or re-installing Garry's Mod.

Alternatively, look for Aftermath Night and Day on the workshop and play on those instead. They are the sequels to Gm_Aftermath and they are both far more detailed, with more things to do and see.

i think a good idea would to have zombie spawns and you can turn them on and of with one button that says start apocalyps that would be neat its just an idea
