I like it. There's just one small detail that's off. When playing as a marine, the "sludge" that kind of sprays up at the bottom of your screen while sprinting through the infestation is still the original color instead of purple.

Actually, Thr3x, the creep is referenced from the original Starcraft game in the Zerg tutorial when explaining you cannout build beyond the "creep.". We require more minerals..

Hey Headhunt! So you want to make a fitting creep to your eclipse mod .P , nice!
So I believe you are saving the .dds files wrongly. So first you need to load the .dds file without mipmaps! After you've done your work , you export it with the compression BC2 / DXT 3 and generate mipmaps. That should be it. I added you if you have further questions

Hey, was trying to make a red infestation and noticed when i modified the file, the infestation looks really spread out and oppac, like if only the clumps are showing fully, any advice?

it has not been copyrighted, it is art. i do belive there is a law about "art" ! good work ! loves purple creep ! And on a further note the word creep cant be copywrote. im sure there a law about a single word being copyed as well ! people just being mad they did not think of it first !

It's like saying that UWE can't implement the entire "Alien" race, because it works fundementally the same as the Zerg race from Starcraft. Just because it's similar, doens't mean it's infringing any copyright claims. (Though seriously, they're extremely similar lol)

The thing is this has actually nothing to do with Starcraft 2. Nothing has been taken from the game or has been copied from the game. I took the original textures of Natural Selection 2 and changed the color so it has it's similarities. ;)

copyright is when you make something and claim that it was your idea and yours alone, him admiting that he got the idea from somewhere means it isnt direct copyright, but it still cannot be implemented into the game unless he got permission from the creators of startcraft

The best one yet! The color is more accurate than the other creep mod. Looks more natural than green, especially indoors.
