Unless you plan on re-doing all the MU sounds lol.
Make a copy of the mdl file and reverse the body mesh. Reposition it accordingly.
Change the MU config file so that it uses the new, reversed mdl file, and change the reverse flag to false instead of true.

So... I guess you made Acela locomotive which has reversed engine sounds to achive reversing doppler effect?
I want to make other engines like yours so could i ask you the software you use(customize mdl file).
All of the reversed cars in the game are done via the multiple unit config, but that in turn reverses the doppler effect for whatever reason. So the solution I had was to make a seperate Acela unit but reverse its model within the mdl file.
How did you reverse the Doppler effect of last cars?
I wanna tune up other cars.
