Sorry I cant help you in your search of the elusive creator.

Question: Did you create the original gm_office that is on the gmod.org website? I'm talking about this: https://garrysmods.org/download/1672/gm-officezip . This map is quite memorable because it has appeared in a few SMG4 video from 2012 and I've been looking for it for a long time. When I found it, its says that the map maker is unknown and it just happen that those two have the same name and are quite similar.

If you have errors, it is probably because you have not got Counter-Strike Source Materials / Models / Textures mounted to your game. You need to purchase and install the game on steam, and then mount it in the Gmod main menu OR you could download the missing textures online from a third party site. I advise against the second option as it can lead to you getting viruses if you don't know what you are doing. Next time theres a Steam Sale see if you can pick up CSS or the Valve Complete Pack! Hope that helps.

Didn't node the map myself, but you can always do nav_generate in console.

Also, its not the biggest / most advanced map so you might be limited in what you can do with NPCs/Bots

A BSP can be de-compilied and turned back into a VMF using a de-compiler like BSPSource. Although de-compilied maps generaly have bugs and are usually of lower quality than the origional VMF

your map has a leak/hole in it. This is the cause of the problems with lighting and some of the other errors you probably had during development. It is most likely the florcent lights. Models do not seal leaks.

I was going to make a map like this except destroyable. Also, you can pack the css textures. I packed some css textures in one of my maps. Just look up a tutorial on youtube how to.
