Great mod, still works and doesnt seem to break. Whats weird is that the screenshots for the mod look much worse than it actually does in game. If anyone is looking at this mod and considering getting it, it looks way better in game than in the screenshots. Definitely made caves look way cooler on the inside.

In "Haemar's Shame" cave, the ojne from the Clavicus Vile Quest, I had constant crashes until I disabled this mod. Just so you know :p

@Hectrol: Could you please please post 4096x4096 version here on steam by splitting it into couple of mods like "Hectrol CAVES DELUXE #1" and "Hectrol CAVES DELUXE #2"?

I want to point out to those who feel this mod changes the textures too much that no matter how much we love Bethsoft for creating Skyrim, they still rushed many things (seams, gaps and out-of-place stuff is all over Skyrim) and while it took me a few hours to get used to the new textures they look far better than the original ones and once you get used to them they look like they were always meant to be there. I figure the originals were just a "get something done right now, we have a once-in-a-century type of deadline" kind of deal really, like I said once you get used to these (or haven't played Skyrim much yet) you won't know the difference.

First off, congrats on becoming a father!

As for the mod, based on the samples, it's hit or miss for me when comparing the old and new textures. Some of the new ones are a great improvement, but then there are others that I find take away too much color variety, making the rock look either too bland and or too dark. The ones I dislike the most are the ones which seem to remove most or all of the "wetness" from the rock texture.

Anyhoo, this is just my personal review. Even if I never install it to, you seem to have impressed a lot of other people, so kudos to you! :^)

This is a nice, light little touch that managed to make all the bajillion voyages into the same poopy looking caves visually better.
