If anything try without, then reinstall just the map. Something may be trying to overwrite files.

this map is cool and all

but i have an issue with purple textures in the windows and underground
(i have the HL2 episodes, CSS, HL:S, and L4D2 on gmod, but still purple)

honestly, one of the best maps ive seen in gmod. i dont think ive ever seen a huge underground complex like this in any other map.

i seemed to have a few error textures, nothing serious really just the fuel tanks and the wooden things for the hill.... but least the underground base is good.

i swear on the lord jesus if anyobdy comments "why are you telling people to pirate game files unhh" i will actually kms. it's not pirating, pirating would be being able to actually play the game. getting the files, however, is different.

That's because the doors that ship with Gmod are packed into the map. Observe:

I noticed that in one of the rooms, there was a button under a desk, but it did nothing. I was wondering if you could tell me what it does.

Make sure you don't have 500+ addons. If not, try loading a default map (ex. gm_construct) first.

Some mild issues with getting the materials and models packed and stuff. Some technically jargon later and he didn't link the thingies to the thingies :p

I'm seriously unclear of the issue. Yet, with the time I have I can't guarantee it will be anytime soon.

@Videogames give him some time. Though I'm not a map maker I'm assuming from what I've experienced and that he is fixing it. Just give it a few more days.

hey guys, did you by chance happen to know that the map is broken?

Just double check your map files, make sure the content stuff is in the packs, etc.
If all else fails googles could be helpful. I hope you figure out what is going on with the map :/

This is so strange... I tried everything so far and I can't seem to figure out why it is happening to everyone.

And the materials/models pack breaks the default texture in other maps :/

Please fix because this map from the screenshots looks great, but if the required content doesn't do anything why play it?

And no, I'm not going to to buy L4D and L4D2 just because your map is broken as fuck
