they have, the quiver in the pictures of this version of the mod is a retexture of the WE quiver, i dont remember if every singe archer unit has one though but i think they do.

Should be updated now. But I have not gone over any possible new units with the DLC as I don't have it yet. It is bad timing for this DLC to launch for me right now.

I will update all my mods and make sure they work with the upcoming patch. Hopefully it comes out early on Thursday so I can fix it up as soon as possible.

This should be updated already, but since there are no changes being made the stupid workshop page does not reflect it. Anyways it should work fine with the newest patch.

@Heisenberg No unfortunally not, as this does something similar to what his mods do. But I believe he has also added quivers to these units in his mod.

To fix the date bug, change one thing in the mod, save it, cut the mod description, save that, update the mod, then go back and change + save the original value you had in the .pack file, upload, then paste + save the mod description. whew. I was *plagued* by improper dates on about every mod I had posted and stumbled on this trick on accident.

Awesome, thank you very much for the vampire cost update and the news about the wrong bow animation, that was very annoying, i am glad that they finally fixed it. :)

While the Steam Workshop page does not seem to reflect it, I have re-uploaded the mod for the Vampire Coast DLC. And some great news about the recent patch is that it has finally fixed the issues with High Elf bows changing to Wood Elf bows when firing on some units.

@Mr.Weyland Thanks for the heads up, I will look into it when I can. Right now I am a bit busy with real life stuff as I am in the process of moving. But I already have planned to spend the launch day of the Vampire Coast DLC with fixing and updating my mods. But until then i can't promise anything.

@Vánagrand that is no option, as far as i know the game has no animation which would match with a quiver on the side, if he puts the quiver on the side your archers still would get thair arrows from there back. Also i dont think that legolas is responsible for this, at least not the legolas in the movies because there were quivers on the back in video games and movies long before the lord of the ring movies, i dont know about the books.

@JayJay Yes they do, actually they are the baseline for the armored archer units. As the torso model used for the armored archers is named gate guard. So their quivers are fine, but they are also unfortunately a victim of CAs lazy QA testing as they have the same animation bug with bows as the other units.

@rex999 That is something I have been trying to do, but there are many problems with the Orc units. First of all, none of the quivers available fit the models. They are very small compared to the models and most of them is practically inside the units back. And another oddity with the unit is that when you add a quiver to it, they lose their bow. They are instead holding an arrow in their hands. So unfortunatly I doubt we will ever be able to add a quiver unless CA themselves add quivers to them or someone figure out a way to remodel units and adds a quiver to them.

@gongoozler Yeah I have been planning on releasing two seperate compilations, one that includes this variant of the high elf quiver and one with the alternate. But right now I am working on some refinements on the Bretonnia quiver and a tiny bug fix for this mod. I will let you know here in the comment section when I release a compilation.

Updated for the Mortal Empire patch. To my dismay the bug with the bows is still present, so we still have to wait for CA to take note of it.

@Spooky Boi & Legat Lucanus. This is very interesting and I have actually thought about trying to add the body to the units and making everything but the quiver itself invisible. Now that I know it actually works I will probably create a seperate sequel mod to this one with the original quiver.

@Dead Rabbid Actually, if you look closely at those throwers, the bolts they use are fairly small in length, about arrow length, but they are much thicker than regular arrows.

@free Do you know how large ballista bolts are? They are roughly as long as spears and even thicker. No way to fit those into a quiver :D

i asked him in the comments of his mod, he made the archer body invisible except of the quiver in order to give the sea guard the high elve quiver.

@free while I agree that would make sense, the arrows in the quiver does not exactly fit with the projectiles being fired by the thrower.

I guess I found a issue.

I do not know if this should be but the soldiers serving the "ballist claw eagle" also have quivers on their backs although they have no bows.

@Sky1739 I am confused as the animation in place for the High Elves have them pull arrows from the back and not the hips so there should be no reason to replace it with a hip quiver.

And the only hip quiver available for this game is the beastmen quiver, which does not look right at all for the High Elves. And it seems there is some problems with retexturing those quivers as I have tried to add them to Bretonnian archers with a new texture, but it does not work as it should. Something to do with it using wsmodel and material files.
