@potato: cl_showcrosshair i think or something like that
@sajgk - check your addons folder for remnant code
You cannot use ANY - and yes I mean any - lua on multiplayer servers you dont own, unless you use a lua injector (hacks) (or of course, the owner is an imbecile and has left sv_allowcslua on). for many reasons - this included, as this would give you an advantage over players. you could recode it, for example, to show up red when you saw a traitor in TTT. you could even just add in aimbot code, or exploits.
If you are truly determined, do what we used to do back in the dawn of FPS gaming and draw a dot in the middle of your screen using pen, or stick on a blob of bluetack.
That way it can be used client-side with a run code :D

Other than that, I still like using this cursor!
First I tested without any addons, FPS diference between camera and tools was 0-5fps, then I re-added them one by one and when I found out that this mod affected fps by 50 between any tool and camera, then I removed it, added all other addons and tried it again just to be sure and the fps diference was again insignificant.
I belive the process that scans what you're aiming for is costly, see what SmartSnap uses because that seems to not affect FPS so much and that also renders the 3D grid as well
