Well, I've messing around with GMod for a while now, and I've come to a conclusion. The game is the playable equivelent of chaos and insanity. It's designed to be warped and twisted in ways that simply wouldn't, or shouldn't, work.

No matter what I do or how I do it, I can never "play the game wrong." My addons here make sure that if anyone who likes this flavour of madness can have it without having to learn how to code sweps.

Simply put, this isn't an addon for you if you don't like it. No one said it was. But is a perfectly valid addon for those who do want it. Welcome to Garry's Mod, leave logic at the door and do whatever the bloody hell you like.


Oh, and I am working on Human-Oriented SWeps, starting with a STALKER:CoP pack and maybe a Fallout: New Vegas Pack.If I can find the right resources, I'll be sure to include some big guns if you're intrested.

It doesn't need PPM/2, rather it works best with PPM/2. It's world model will not show on valvebiped player models, and CPPM and PPM shows the world model as mat/light0001 (invisible). So for full effect, you need it.

For single player, I suppose it doesn't matter.

Does it really need the pony playermodels, because I am in a state of high doubt of that.

Sadly not. It's all one solid model. On the bright side, it's one less thing to worry about when it comes to computer performance.

Also the barrels dont rotate. not sure if there is anything you can do about that though.

Updated. I think the file is right. Halved ammo cap and firerate. Damage is untouched. Couple this with the m9k command, and it shouldn't be that much of a lag monster.

It isn't about balance, it's server performance. M9k Weapons have a multiplayer glitch, where if the ammo cap is too high, it well only show that you'll have half and it never needs reload. Dropping the mag from 500 to 250 will fix it. Dropping rpm from 6000 to 3000 preserves fire time per load.

Except these. They don't mix well with servers, and need to be re-nerfed by half. Not damage, just firerate and ammo cap.

Whatever, just make your guns and I'll make mine. The GMod is a workshop is a free market and we are both welcomed to post here, and I'm making full use of that. From the looks of your workshop, you have a little work to do.

The purple m4a1 looks neat though. Guns like that on the workshop should net a few hundred subs at least. (Note, the types that would like a Royal Purple M4A1 are usually the types that would prefer TFA and CW2.0. Friendly tip.)

Come to think of it, I was going to make some human guns, but if you develop the guns off mine, then my workload becomes ~30% lighter. So yeah, knock yourself out.

To be honest, it doesn't need PPM/2. That's just the only Pony Player Model set up that allows visable guns. Even a human can use these, but the world model won't show.

And The Grymod Hud is so I can see it's nanocharge (It's a Crysis addon with the nanosuit powers.) and the other one is for suit charge, time and whatever else. Redundent, but it works for now.
