I'm having the same issue as well—the crashing when loading into my server when this mod is enabled alongside "Show Me".

When I adopted a pet with this mod, the code in the mod thought about which badge to choose, but it went unknown. Then what happened is it wasn't my pet no longer. It also has the same issue for characters that can exclusively make minions.

@Ram: echoing @kecapb, it would be nice if you fixed the conflict with ShowMe - the game instantly crashes because you're using a net-variable with the same name.

Came here to say what @Afterburn did: It currently causes adopted critters to not follow you, and you can't abandon them either; the only action you can do is "Examine" them.
