Yeah I'm having the same problem as daztora. Skills are blank and they stay as rookies.

When promoted the skills page is blank and they remain Rookie's, same goes for Viper, Turians etc

anyone else make a character pool version and on promotion is glitched stuck as Asari Recruit and cant be changed or promoted to anything else even with commands?

Does anyone know if it's possible to add the Allies Unknown races to the pool of VIPs/Scientists/Engineers?

why does the hp become lower the higher the difficulty, it just makes them not worth the 50 supplies

Does this work with WOTC or vanilla only? Any time I activate this mod in the AML, I can't load the game and says it's unable to load the mod itself while in AML it shows it's no problem.

The head is showing up as a helmet for some reason. Does this conflict with the invisible head mod? I thought those were just head alternative options?

i notice if i chance the head by accident the head get all messed up and i cant figure how to get the head right again. just shows eyes and mouth. i dont see a head option to go back to asari

What is that armor in the first picture? I've looked everywhere and I can't find it.

Does this work with the Thessia cosmetics pack? I've noticed a lot of these AU species packs dont play well with cosmetics from other authors

Many voice packs aren't showing on their soldier type in the character pool

I'm using the Psi Overhaul. I wanted to make it so it was guaranteed that Asari would be psionic, but the mod classifies they by class and so anyone that isn't a hero or spark falls in the same category. At least as I understand it since I have had Asari who aren't psionic, but I've had Geth, Turians, and Salarians that are. If the races are considered a class is there a keyword I can us to put in the config to change their rate or take them out of the consideration completely?

@ilego you either have a mod conflict or, most likely the issue, you are not subbed to all of the required mods. I have used this and nearly all of RealityMachina's mod and they work perfectly fine. If not, RealityMachina is quick to fix whatever the bug may be.

um is this mod working because it crashes everytime i use it?

I mean it is a neat question to ask! I'll probably go see if it's something I can feasibly do or if I'll have to bug the highlander team to add a hook for it.

I think I've found a bug with the Asari; any Asari soldiers cannot reload special one-of weapons, like the Alien Hunters spike launcher and the TLP weapons. And I do mean completely not able to reload, not just not having the button anymore; using the keyboard shortcut for reload just produces an error beep.

I was trying to use Console Commands to edit one of my Asari soldiers. However, I couldn't get it to change the stat I wanted to change. Is there a different string of commands required to edit an Asari soldier?

The Asari Commando uniform is not working anymore (all void, with no color). I've tried to reinstall the mod (even deleting ini files) and still broken.

don't suppose it'd be possible to have the asari have their own head/armor when customizing like the turians/quarians/krogan? rather unsettling to see an asari spawn in and she is missing her face

@Dovie: actually, they already do if i remember right, they have a higher chance to become biotics than normal rookies.

would you be able to use the shielding code that you use for Asari to make armor that does the same thing....but better....i want my spartans

It would be cool if the Asaris make use of the Biotic Class mod =P Since they share the biotic barrier skill.

k. I've tried everything i could think of to change their class (faction classes) and nothings worked =*(
closest i got was to get them in game with the class and customizations, but it wont give them their racial abilities.
or create one in the character pool, but it keeps the rookie pose (holding an invisible rifle) but still with the faction weapons unequiped (pistols on their side for templar).

still like having other races for variety. its all canon in my head! =D

The vanilla giveclass cheat (and other soldier-related cheats) doesn't work for anything that isn't the vanilla soldier type, as far as I'm aware.

Is it possible that you can't change an asari's class via the console? I'm trying to make my asari a certain modded class but for some reason it won't work. It works with all the other soldiers except for the asari. (haven't tested other "species unknown" species)

Question, do the barriers ever get stronger? or does it stay at 2 HP all the way up their ranks?

sooooo... how does one make it possible to have allies unknown available (forced change "class" since their listed as a separate rookie class) as a faction hero

@blub: could be that one that's affecting all AU aliens.

im not sure if it is just me that has had this issue so i will do some more testing but there might be an issue with the ascension elevator in the chosen mission when using one of the asari characters.

@Bos: Skirms wouldn't really judge, though. mean, hell, i have two Hybrid species i made in my CP, and out of irony.. guess who showed up as Skirmisher troops guarding the VIP on their Resistance mission? ;)

They don't follow on the transition gate when attacking a Chosens stronghold. :(

@mynameactually sirmishers are once-advents aliens wouldnt be in skirmishiers either the only one they could join would be templars
