It would be nice, in general, if more of these had more diverse requirements (More than 1 technology, that isn't in the same tree, like the Compass and Dynamite for example) so there's more strategy to acquiring wonders and there isn't just a massive list of available wonders after every-other tech researched.

I find it is not the religion, but the people who are the problem. Religion can be a handy excuse, since it is always possible to interpret them in many ways. Just look at the bible where it both says, "an eye for an eye" and "Turn the other cheek" We may think it is obvious which one we should follow, but if we really want something because it's convenient, we merely ignore the obvious meaning and make it say what we need.

And finally, sorry for the long post. But I find that brief commentaries on a subject as sensitive as religion often create more strife than it resolves.

As a one who studies Religion in college I just want to say this. What a religion is as an ideal, and what religious people tend to do are often completely unrelated. A good example is Christianity. Jesus says that you should turn the other cheek, meaning that to a christian literally all forms of self defense, and as an extention thereoff obviously all form of attack, is strictly prohibited. However with Pope Urban the second we see, not only a religious individual, but the supreme ruler of western Christianity (Note no all Christianity, since he has no say over f.x. the orthodox communities.) declares a holy war. To top it off Christianity is a religion that focusses on the scripture.

My point. Saying Christians are this, or muslims are that. Or even Christianity or Islam is so and so, is quite dangerous. Because all religions are carried out in a myriad of ways, and it is quite hard to sum up so many indiviuals in one.

If you quote what someone says make sure what you quote is correct because if not that is considered libel, Pouakai didn't say "oh hey i dont like religion because i dont believe it", you thought of what he said and put it down in quotes. He said "I actually happen to know a lot about religions, hense why I have made the decision to be an atheist."

If someone is doing harm to someone or something then that is when you can put your foot down and stop it which is what we did/still doing with the Taliban. If someone does something you don't like why should you care? Did he/she harm you or anyone/anything else? No. He/She believes what he/she believes and if you wish to "harm" him/her with remarks you are acting as grown up as the Taliban. Do you understand?

I can find a list of quotes from The Bible to make my point but I don't want to have a huge lecture on religion, it isn't about that, its about doing what is right and making harmful comments just because you don't like something isn't right.

I know many people who follow Islam, they aren't evil trying to kill everyone, most just want to have a good life with everyone else and do good in the world. The militants in the middle east have been casting a bad light on Islam mostly in the fact that Islam is a "deep-rooted" religion, Christianity wasn't always so open and forgiving, if you want to know some fun facts read a few books about the Middle Ages (400's-1400's) a lot of violence in the name of Christianity.

Each religion has had its rough patches but overall they have the "Golden Rule" "Do unto others and you want them to do unto you" would you like it if someone was giving you disrespectful comments on what you believe? I don't think you would so why would you think its alright to do that to others?

I hope you didn't take this comment as a means to belittle you or anything, I just wanted to let you know what it is, not what you might think it is. If you believe I am incorrect you can always go online and look up what I posted, but in the end it isn't about who is right or wrong, its about finding the truth.
