Its ok - it took me also some time to check all changes and conflicts. All mods without professions should still work - even if some are not that usefull anymore. Thanks for the praise. :-D

I did. wasnt too hard. I dont question your right to do so, i just thought there are other issues to be adressed first ;p that wasnt meant to be mean or offensive in any way. I might agree on that range on demonic and volcanic bows needs a buff, but low tier bows should recieve small nerf each imo

I did also made a mod to buff melee fighting and add a melee focussed profession - perhaps you try them (no one has to use my mods - I made them for myself and just shared them). If you have to fight fallen angels with bows you will see that they have not been broken.

Why buff bows when they're broken already? melee is virtually useless and if it comes to guns with exception of coil gun, they're too expensive and by the time i was closing to them i had already entire team equiped with op found items/weps anyway. sad, game is nice but needs lots of balancing

Ok, the Melee Weapon Balancing Mod is available now, called "Nimble Footed". Could take some minutes until it is visible in steam.

To your last comment: Melee fighting in vanilla works only with a lot of first aids kits etc.

-Flails.- Huzzah! Always had a spook/other health boosting perked fighter with a club and one or more bowmen - bows seem to out-damage the melee class when in proper cover, but it seems the main use of melee is supposed to tie up and distract melee demons from chewing your archers, but as you say, just not enough damage, evasion or defense right now, melee fighters become quickly dying punch-bags in my personal experience, perhaps I'm doing/was doing it wrong. X3

Thanks for the comment. You are right - melee fighting feels very rough (because the vanilla defense ratings have only a weak impact and the survivors heal very slow).

This is the reason why I balanced only ranged weapons until now - I only fought with ranged weapons yet.

So a melee balancing mod would make sense - perhaps not to deal the most damage, but to do something like tanking. I will make a plan for this and provide an melee weapon mod by the end of next week (about knifes, clubs, hammers, etc.) - so stay tuned. :steammocking:

Downloaded this and almost all your other mods for the game, small-ish, balanced and enjoyable, though admittedly it makes melee fighters, in my personal experience, seem more useful for distracting enemies than killing them.

If I may offer a idea or two, randomly wondering if it'd make sense for melee weapons to offer a small-ish boost to evasion - more incentivising for survivors to go into melee? Also if the shields, even the wooden one, offered a slight-ish armour boost, would be logical too given their function. Quite a few things that can be changed. XD
