@Zelus sorry man, I lost all of my old mods/games on my hard drive that shat out over the summer. Honestly, even if I did have the files, I am not sure I would update it because it never really worked correctly in the first place. If you wanted to mess with it, idk how easy it is to obtain code, but the textures should be in the mod folder if you downloaded this from the workshop and went to common/Rimworld/Workshop or whatever the path is, and if you could remake it or give the textures to a friend to remake I would not mind you using anything from the mod

Any chance of getting a 1.2 version? I just want cool werewolves like this as an additional threat, the other werewolf mod is a bit too overly complicated for my tastes. (Also I kind of like these designs better.)

@peanutter thanks for offering lol but ide doubt i could do it lol tried modding before it just confused me a lot lol and modding a new race on here seems like it do the same lol since you would need to test if it works with stuff so on. If i can find someone who will do for me I will send them here.

@rune1993 I salute you for commenting on a three year old untouched mod my friend lol, I am sorry to say I will not do that but if you want the textures and would like to do it yourself I would be happy to send you them via discord or something, you can pm me for my discord details or any other convenient method of transferring the PNGs (they are probably not more than a megabyte)

@Peanutter is there a chance you could do a race mod version using the skins for these werewolves ive been looking for one but can find one would be cool to have a colony of them.

At moment i am using the Leeani Playable Race mod fox people i get them as random colonists mixed with normal human ones its greate but the closes to a wolf race i can find.

a werewolf or just wolf race colony would be cool.

@MiamiHurricane No, it's not. The one Barky did is made by Jecrell and I believe is part of the Cthulhu pack. He said in the video that its not been released yet.

Yeah my rule for development is that it's always at least twice as hard as it sounds. I was just proposing what I'd think might be the simplest way to do it- but simplest doesn't always mean simple.

@Zapness Thanks for the feedback, I'll be sure to take some of your pointers. Also, the modding is harder than you'd think. I have the same plan that you laid out, but it's easier said than done. I have no past experience with .xml files so I've just kind of been using other references and going trial-and-error until I get what I want to happen.

One thing you should do is add more pictures and give more details in the description- in particular, take a screenshot of the information page, a werewolf in the wild, and a werewolf in combat. The description should further expand on the information page- how fast they move, their DPS, etc..

Now I'm not into modding yet myself, but I'd think the virus could be accomplished in a basic form by having each hit by a werewolf have a (low) %chance to give a unique infection- if they develop immunity before mid stage then they're fine and it'll disappear, but if they don't get rid of it in time it'll trigger a berserk state. Again, not perfect, but it would make the mod more interesting (And I'm currently not subbing because of how little it seemingly adds in its current state).

@TangerinaCat I want to do a little bit more other mods to figure out the whole modding concept, and then I'm going to go back and fix up my old ones. I hope to make an event where there's a full moon every so often and a pack of werewolves come and try to kill your colonists, along with werewolves turning into humans during day and humans with lycan virus turning into uncontrollable werewolves at night.

this looks dope man, i know its your first mod but keep it up, if you keep working on this mod im sure it will become an awesome mod, if you plan on working more on this mod try and add an infection system like,if you get bitten by a wolf or werewolf there is a chance you will become a werewolf
