Hell, even tried downloading MS visual studio so I could get modbuddy to work and that gave me too much sass for me to immediately lose interest in spending time sorting that out.

Huh, didn't see the link was removed. Well, as much as I'd like to fix/update these mods, I haven't the time anymore.
Can't remember if someone said they'd update them. If you can do it yourself, feel free to. Not much to it if you know how to mod (whatever the current process is, I wouldn't know), since I list all the bonuses and whatnots. All I ask is that you do proper crediting and what not.

Shame this never got those mentioned updates (the link to which as been removed). As probably goes without saying, I'm something of a Cady fan.

Of course, you could always change that to reuire either horses or ivory and make it replace the Circus instead, but this still leaves the princess of love building bloodsport arenas...

Okay, if I'm reading the festival's .XML correctly, then it requires one horse resource to build, AND reuires either a horse, cow or sheep improved nearby, like a Stable.
This'd be perfectly reasonable, except for the fact that the Colluseum it replaces does not require that, and that this locks out cities built elsewhere from producing ANY happiness structures - on a Civ that wants Golden Ages more than anything!

I had not even noticed that limit on the Crystal Festival, I just figured that I hadn't built whatever Colluseums usually require.
Switching that to use the same logic as Factories makes snese, I think.

I agree with Optera's idea. That way, there isn't a gigantic GAP in happiness if you don't happen to have built all your cities in places with Horses.

I see your point, you DO need horses to have a festival.
How about changing it to use horses like factories use coal rather than make it only available in cities that have improved horses? Let ponies from all around your empire participate in the festival. ;)

is there any chance this, or any of your other mods could be changed to work in multiplayer? me and my friends use that "JDH" thing to play Civ V multiplayer modded, but a lot of the pony mods don't work, :(.

Digi Lord, sorry about the delay, I'm a very busy person. The problem is related to your download cache as far as I remember. Alot people have that problem, including me sometimes. Steam doesn't prioritize mod uploads/downloads so it may become corrupt. I suggest googling how to fix it and try unsubscibing/resubscribing from outside the game.
