That really... Doesn't help. I mean, I would love to know how the heck you build these things as well, but the problem is, I don't even know where to start;
Can you fit the parts together with the Gravity gun? Nope.
Do you lock the parts together with the Physics gun? Well, you can put it together, but then you just have a lump of useless wood and metal.
Do you use the construction and constraint tools? And if so, what exactly do you DO with them?
The problem is, you just took the parts, dumped them on a platform, and then just kind of expected people to figure it out "With [their] imagination." Yeah, Gmod has a ridiculous expanse of things to do in it, but what do the morons like me, who pretty much just take a bunch of npc's, dump them in a cool map, and then watch them kill each other. Stupid people like me need instructions, because we don't even know how the stuff COULD work.
Like, the whole reason Gmod exists.

Garry's Mod uses the same Source engine. So in a way, it's just as old.
