I can confirm this mod is broken, here's two things I found

You cannot use devmode with this mod, it will cause an infinite black screen either on game start or save load.

You can only light fires with a drill plank and sturdy stick, nothing else works.

I'm pretty sure the creator will eventually update the mod after the next official (not IWBUMS) release. There's actually too much (in a good sense) happenings to the code of PZ to bother update things in btw imo

@duanethebathtub : "Any way to turn down the amount of food you get?" => It's not tied to the mod but to the game itself ; you may go into the game parameters and set "Nature Abundance" to a lower level than "Normal". But it'll impact everything you can get from Forage, not only food.

You can find the Bow in my The Last of Us mod (it should be in the description), though bear in mind that I don't update that from a very very long time and it may be unbalanced and bugged, also it doesn't have traits. To be honest I suggest you to keeping with this if it's still up to date until new anims come out and many people could get back to modding (probably I'm one of them)

Any way to turn down the amount of food you get? I can eat just off the incredible amount of food I can forage for. Am throwing most of it away (or turning to compost).

I really love the bow and arrow (reason I installed this mod). Maybe have an option to just add that? Thanks for the really cool mod!

As RH4DB4 said, campfires can not be lit. I disabled all other mods to ensure it was not a conflict with them. As soon as I enable Wilderness Improvements, I can no longer light campfires. Not a big deal if you can find a grill/have an oven. I just wanted to let you know this is a happening.

It can not be Light Fire in the existing way.

Great mod!
Shooting through fences and player made windows seems to work but you make noise as if you were hitting them, thus atrracting zombie attention. Is it possible to fix it?

Ya i love this mod but the arrow weight can be a problem if you don't have high strength and even then.

I like this mod very much, the bow is really satisfying to make and use. It's balanced pretty well vs. the vanilla guns even though it's silent, it's single shot and you really need to invest in the aiming skills for it work well. A couple of minor things/suggestions:
- The recipe might require twine/fishing line instead of just ripped sheets, while it's great to be able to make one right when you start it feels a little bit cheap.
- When you fire in the dark, you get a "muzzle flash" effect that I guess is inherited from adapted gun code. I don't know if you can fx that \o/

Suggestion:
A quiver would be super, there is a mod out that introduces hip packs and you might adapt that to be a quiver (or I guess I could just also use that mod now that I think of it but anyway, suggestion)

I don't know if it's asking too much, but I'd like to share the idea of adding a recipe for a quiver. Like converting 30 or 50 arrows to a quiver that weighs very low, like the boxes of ammo.

About the birch bark, yeah it seems to be broken, I already made a fix, I'm gonna release it along with the traits rebalance.

After the fix you should be able to start the fire by using lighter/Matches and birch bark as a tinder (instead of the newspapers etc;)

Yeah I totally forgot about rebalancing those OP traits lol. My brain was AFK or something when I was making them x)

Here's my suggestion:
Forager - +1 to foraging and +1 to farming, costs 6 skill points
Archer - +2 to aiming and +1 to reloading, costs 8 skill points

What do you think about this?

I still like this mod very much, but after many hours, i still can't find any use to bark ; i know it's supposed to be fuel or something, but i still don't understand how to use it (it doesn't appears in the "Add fuel" option of various menus IG). What i'm doing wrong ? [not essential at all, but you HAVE someday to balance the cost/gain of Archer & Forager to the true PZ skillpoints standard system :P ]
