It's in the camping section of the build menu but you need to research it first at tech level 3.

The crossbow crafting stations didn't exist when I made this, but if I ever feel like messing around with Kenshi again I'll probably put it there now that I know.

I bought a few from a wandering trader but I can't deploy these things, they don't show up in the build menu at all, no matter if I have them in my inventory or not.

This mod would go well with the extended campsite mod, allowing some defenses to be set up for the campsite while keeping it invisible for factions since it won't count as an outpost.

Why not using the backpack slot when holding the packed version of the Crossbow ? You could also add it visually in the game this way :)

This mod seems a little similar to a mod I made back in March I think it was. I called it Siege Equipment. I put it here in the workshop months ago.

Nice! Been wanting a mod like this!
But: I think the packed version should be as big and clunky as two planks or something like that, so you need a big backpack or a pack beast to carry it. The weight seems allright, but the size of a skeleton muscle is too small. And it should not be stackable. There should be a real trade off to carry it with you. Consider it constructive suggestions - I love the mod!

Whoah this seems pretty awesome. I'm a little worried about balance though since this seems like it could easily be pretty overpowered but I'll definitely test it out.
