A year late reply, but here it is for people who may still want them. Yes, there is a way to get super OP weapons!

Use this mod that allow highly customizable turrets.

this is perfect in nearly ever way. The only thing that could be asked of is custom weapons that are super OP like the asgard plasma beams ;)
