Well for one you can test the call in game by opening the console which should be the "~" key and type "startcall tip". Another way of checking is going into your steam files -> steamapps -> workshop -> content -> 503560 All of your subscribed calls should be in this file.

You are probably experincing the same thing I was. None of calls I downloaded or uploaded were working in game for some reason. A few other people were having the same problem. I emailed the devs. They said to remove contribute beta. This will put the game in an older version. They will fix the issue in the next update.
