It would be great if you could add a convar which defines who actually can see the authors of sprays.
e.g.
0 - nobody | -1 - everyone | 1 - admins | 2 - superadmins
Default is -1

I've been using this addon for a long time and it's very great. However, sometimes when using the spraymon console command, some sprays do not appear and instead say "not available" These sprays are invisible to me when they are sprayed, but sometimes other players can see them. Do you have any idea what might cause this?

I think the addon is broken after the recent gmod update.
nobody can see newer sprays they recently put on.

it works fine. but can everyone see this? i mean can everyone see the steam IP if they press alt.

NVM the server reboot fixed the spray delay. So is the only update relaetd to the spraymon command in the console? i can now ee everyones sprays which is pretty cool

also, i used to be able to spam sprays (not other players0), but now i can't. i tried adding "spraymon_nodelay 2" to server.cfg, but nothing. ideas?

I have been using this addon for a very long time. I do like how you can now type spraymon in console and see all the sprays installed by players. The issue is that it shows the sprays that players have whether they actually sprayed it or not. So I hear the spray sound, do spraymon in the console, and ban Joe seeing he has a porn srpay installed. Problem is that Joe isn't the one who sprayed it - Tim sprayed his spray of a pokemon character. Joe was wrongly banned. You see? Is there a way for the console to show ONLY the sprays that were actually sprayed? Or maybe just a notation by a spray shown in the console, that it was sprayed on the server?

Works perfectly fine. Still wondering how to copy steamid.

You should add the ability for Staff to remove the ability to spray from a player.

added "spraymon_nodelay" ULX access. Give it to group or user to let them spray without delay.
"spraymon_nodelay" convar now defaults to 0.

added "spraymon" console command - shows you sprays of all players on server.
"spraymon_nodelay" convar now can be set to -1: let everyone spray without delay.
fixed spraymon_nodelay 2 still allowing admins to sprays without delay.

It doesn't work at all....do I need to install it in a certain location?

This is a truly fantastic addon and I really don't know how any server owner can live without it.

This is source engine's part. Ideally, sprays are supposed to stay on clients even after player diconnect, but sometimes they for some reason become purple/black.

Seem to be encountering a bug with this. When players spray their sprays and then leave, the sprays will no longer clean up properly for other clients, and will end up being replaced with the purple and black missing texture checkerboard. Any idea how to fix this?

@VigiFyre try joining the server I ussually play on I sorta disabled spraying over sprays it just needs cvars, and I am probably going to add the rank thing Mikhail was asking for but I am going to make it compatable with all the admin mods I can possibly think of.

Twilight Nobs, you are probably trying to type it on client. This is serverside addon, so you should type it into SRCDS console, use RCON or add it to server.cfg.

Tenshi, it's hard to disable overspraying because of players constantly coming and leaving. For example, P1 sprays something, P2, who is already on server sees it. But then P3 connects and he can't see that spray. But i'll think about it, maybe it'll work for round-based gamemodes.

Can you make the Sprayed by text have some sort of outline, some times its a little hard to see. Also do you think its possible to disable spraying over sprays?
