let me explain why this ickypop "thing" map was created(no i dont mean on gmod i mean on the actual half life 2 game) is because the developers decided to make joke maps such as "Boxing" And "Domino" and even "aliens dialog test" then decided to create this meme

I uploaded some maps but they're only a few kilobytes big, and when I try to start them up they dont load, they just close the map menu. It's a BSP file, these are hl2 beta maps I got from the WC mappack.

Beta maps are difficult to convert to gmod. You have to port over textures and models and decompile the maps. Still though, I agree with you on the fact that they're cooler! And you can find more of these types of beta maps on garrysmod.org

@pinzaja you can download it from there , if there are none custom, just find a folder of the map that says ''.bsp'' and put it in the ''maps folder'' i actually found out this myself , 100% working with maps without custom models and/or textures

Yeah, said beta weapons pack on garrysmod.org was never completed and the creator abandoned it, if you dont code then HOW THE FUCK DID YOU PORT THIS OVER FROM THE BETA AND MAKE IT WORK ON GMOD!!!

Sorry, but I don't code. There are definetly Half-Life 2 Beta Weapons packs on garrysmod.org and there might be some in the workshop. Just look around a bit.
