update 1.7.0 (dystopia)

Added -
Nuclear missile launch testing
A string of 5 decisions which require a lot of money, admin power, military power and for some the right type of leader in power. This string will get you to the 6th decision which is to launch nuclear missile at a random rival. To get this string you will need to have done the decision to go for an offensive nuke. The first decision in the string is: to do tests, the second is short range missile test, 3rd medium range tests, 4th payload experiments and 5th long range tests.
There is a decision to cancel all modifiers gained at any point of the decision string, but this will bump you back to the start. For each decision UNION, the AEU, Earth sphere federation, the HRL and Celestial being cannot exist and there needs to be one level 8 fort in an owned province.
North Korea can also have this decision string no matter what government.
When the ICBM is launched the targeted nation will have an event to try and intercept it, meanwhile all other nations with nuclear capabilities will be asked if they either want to launch at you in retaliation, launch at their rivals or do nothing.
NOTE- you could be completely wiped out if all or enough nations retaliate at you because a random province will go back to being un-colonised along with bordering provinces. And those provinces will get three modifiers: extreme nuclear winter, mild nuclear winter and weak nuclear winter. Which in total will last 100 years for that province.
During the decision string events will happen for trading sanctions and coalitions against you from, bordering countries, rivals and member on the United nations security council.

Added Decision: Brexit (for GBR), this does the same thing as the ET decision to leave the EU but it gives you 5000 ducats (for the NHS *joke*) but has the side effects of: gilbraltar will be ceded to spain, Scotland will become independent under Nicola Sturgeon and London will become the city state of London under Sadiq Khan. so choose brexit if you wish, this decision will only be avaliable from 2016 to 2019.

New tech group has been added for Celestial being to have unqiue units: Gundams, so they are more of a threat early game. mil tech 97: Exia - infantry, Dynamus/Kyrios - cavelry, Virtue - Artillery. mil tech 99: 00 Gundm - infantry, Cherudim/ Arios - cavelry, Seravee - Artillery.

Various Fixes

Updates -
United nations updated so there is an event which chooses a UN Secretary General. the nation with this modifier is the only one able to start debates. there is also a way now that you can see who is on the UNSC via a decision

Compatible with eu4 1.19

Edited Aircraft carrier desicion so condition for it is now 4000 ducats - it still costs 2000 ducats to do, but this is so that the ai will less frequently do the decision.

Edited alternate timeline corruption events so it takes more corruption for them to be triggered - as found in a game, the values were too low so it ended up with every nation apart from 5 with 99 corruption and -3 stability, a very static world indeed.

Added historical units for UNION (Union Flag etc...), AEU (Enact etc...) and the HRL

1.6.2 update

Fixed government type for UNION/AEU and HRL so there are elections now every 5 years, Fixed Olympic host errors.

Added Aircraft carrier decision where you’ll get a new admiral named aircraft carrier and/or aircraft carrier duo, with almost max ‘traits’. This will also give a modifier for decreasing envoy time, upping naval tradition, moral and increasing land reinforcement speed. This can only happen if naval tradition is above 30 for the first carrier and 50 for the second. As well as your naval capacity being at least 75%. These effects will also go when the admiral dies.
Added dystopian event to provinces which have compact housing, this is all dependant on choices from events for that province. Local unrest goes up by 20 and local tax decreases. There is an event to remove this province modifier but it takes a while.

Added decisions for the alpha centrui colony, can now build buildings, that give modifiers for earth:
Space port – increase foreign trade
Fortress – increase army tradition
Communication relay – reduce tech cost
Transit system – increase production
Space dockyard – increase navy tradition
Vertical farm – increase discipline

Added asteroid mining decision around the 2060’s. where there is an option to create 5 mining companies for each of the 5 Lagrangian points, only one company can be done for each point so it is a race between nations to create them, there are also ways that nations could lose these companies to their rivals (who have a space program). Each modifier will increase production and foreign trade power.

Trump presidency event. Event will fire to change US president to Donald Trump in 2017. This has a knock on effect, if Trump is president an event may fire that will cause unrest in provinces that do not have the primary culture, this will trigger another event that will give you the option to build the wall. Which will build forts in each province that is next to mexico. Then there will be a choice for either for the US to pay for it or Mexico too, one of these choices will cause a war.

Throughout the Trump presidency, if you get lower than 1 prestige an event will fire that will cause California to secede from the union, this new nation will have a guarantee from china and mexico.

Added, run up to nato Russia war: if the tag ISL exists in 2015 an event for Russia will fire, which if the right choice is done, will start a chain reaction of events firing between Russia and the US at least 10 times. If both nations choose certain choices, around 2020 a NATO coalition will go to war with Russia.

To play the earth sphere federation, without forming it, the only current way to play it at the moment is to play them from the year 2310, still trying to figure out why when, the ESF control Europe, the game crashes

Next big update (1.7.0) may focus on Celestial being, I have neglected them a bit which may include a new technology group which will introduce unique Gundam type units for them, so are more of a threat when they first appear

quick fixes to formable nations, for UNION, HRL and AEU. and fix so the steel tradegood event fires.
there is a known issue with playing as the Earth sphere federation (via bookmark) I am currently trying to figure out why.

Added
Trade goods
Uranium, (credit to challenger) – dip tech needs to be at least 82. And there are certain province which can get this trade good. This trade good will also only last 90 years in the province. Uranium gives: defensiveness = 0.5
Coal (credit to challenger) – adm tech needs to be at least 60 and below 92. Only certain provinces can get this trade good from a prospecting event, same with Uranium. This trade good will only last 200 years in the province. Coal gives: production_efficiency = 0.10
Steel – adm tech needs to be at least 81 and below 91. Only certain regions of the word will get an event for this trade good. This trade good will only last 40 years and gives: global_ship_cost = -0.10 and global_regiment_cost = -0.05
Services – the country needs to have the internet institution embraced and be at least 95 adm. This trade good gives: global_tariffs = 0.20
Hydrogen – adm needs to be at least 95 and can only happen in provinces with oil trade goods. It gives: naval_maintenance_modifier = -0.50
Cannabis – 15% chance this trade good will appear in certain province from colonisation of when a province’s trade good becomes unknown. It gives: local_tax_modifier = 0.3 and local_unrest = 1. There is a decision to ban cannabis that can be done if any owned province has the trade good and the ruler has at least 5 adm. This decision will make every cannabis province turn into an unknown tradegood.

Space decisions
Added new decisions for when a moon and mars colony is built
The focus of the colony can be chosen and upgraded; Financial: global_tax_income = 40. Research: technology_cost = -0.10. Military: global_manpower_modifier = 2.0.
New decision after embracing Outer space colony aspiration, to build a colony on Alpha Centarui. With this you will get: global_tax_income = 50 and technology_cost = -0.05. When at war with another country which has a colony there, there is an event that might fire where the war spreads to their, there is a chance that you might lose your colony depending on what is chosen. There are also random events that come from that colony and depending on your choices for a number of event, it could see the independence of that space colony.

The rights of WO-Man – added another queen for the British monarchy for prince William and added a queen for the Trinidadian government during the reign of King Aaron.
More exclusively for this DLC may be added IF --- I like the DLC, but be assured the bulk of this submod will be for free content patches.

Non DLC
Football world cup decisions and events. There are three decisions: host the world cup where you need at least 500 ducts, as you can bribe the FA to host the cup. qualify for the world cup where there is a 50/50 change you get to or not. And attend the worldcup finals where there is a chance to win, come second or just play in the tournament. If won the nation gets 2000 ducts and 10 prestige.
The host nation will automatically skip the qualifying rounds, but if they win they get double the reward, and if they get any other position they get minus prestige.
There is also a few random events for the host nation including late construction, poor security and during the final hooliganism.
New government has been added for AEU, UNION and the HRL where by for the AEU when they takeover/ country doesn’t exist they will get a faction for that nation, with a different modifier for each. The AEU gets: UK, Germany, France, Turkey, Sweden and Russia. the HRL gets: China, India and Eastern Russia. And UNION gets: USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Argentina.
Joint intelligence decision, where if the year is at least 1939 and at least 1 trusted ally, and has and opinion of at least 150 for a random ally, the nation gets incease spy defense and offense.
Cyber warfare decision, where if the adm is at least is 91, and has at least 3 allies; a random rival will get a modifier which decreases their global tax income for a year.
United nations security council. This is an attempt of the UNSC where a decision will be allowed for the UK, USA, China, France and Russia to become permanent members if there is a stability of 3 and 2000 ducts. and for 10 other nations at a time to be normal members for 5 years. This membership will come with the events of aid packages and peace keeping missions which will need to be voted for, 8 votes either way will make the decision either way. Permanent members have the option to veto the decision.
For the aid package and peace keeping events, a random country will be the recipient of ducts or manpower if the UN members vote yes.
UN members will need to get approval for wars now even if they have a casus belli. If not there is a random change that a normal member will be removed from the council and a permanent members diplomatic reputation will go down.

Solar wars, there are now trigger events for each of the 5 solar wars.
1st solar power war: if the year is 2248 and the HRL is not at war, along with the tags UNI, ARG and IRA existing the first solar power war will be triggered.
2nd solar power war: if the year is 2250 and Niger is not at war, along with the tags UNI, AEN, CAF and Libya existing.
3rd solar power war: if the year is 2261 and Egypt is not at war, along with the tags for the AEU, Kazakhstan and Iran exist.
4th solar power war: if the HRL is not at war and the year is 2289, along with the tag for the AEU exists.
5th solar power war: if the HRL is not at war and the year is 2292, along with UNION and the AEU existing.
Momento Mori:
In place of the dropped nuclear decisions and events, there is now in place several decisions that can be made to build a solar power super weapon. This can only be done if you have at least one orbital elevator building. It is an expensive venture, so the likelihood of the ai attacking you with it is low. 4 decisions need to be chosen before the option to fire the momento mori appears. It can only be done at war time and the whole project will cost around 40,000 ducats and several hundred admin, dip and mil points.
The effect of firing the weapon is that a randomly chosen enemy will have a random province that will lose all of its troops bordering provinces. And the chosen provinces will get three modifiers: extreme nuclear winter, mild nuclear winter and weak nuclear winter. Which in total will last 100 years for that province.

More faction events for governments of that type, minus the AEU, HRL and UNION. Two new events have been added, one linked to is the tag ISL exists. If they do the national socialist parties of a nation will gain influence, this depends on if more than 5 owned provinces have an unrest above 3. There is a knock on effect of another new event where if the tag ISL exist a random province in the European region will gain +5 unrest, this even will keep firing during 2015 – 2025, or until the tag ISL does not exist.
Anti- nuclear deterrence, this event if for nations who have chosen the decision to start a nuclear program, at a random interval the liberal parties of governments will have an increase of influence, until the program is stopped.
altered the Trinidad expansion timeline, with its conclusion as a war between Trinidad, Japan and New Zealand Vs Venezuela and Brazil.
Forming UNION diplomatically: added the decision to allow UNION to be formed without war needed. This decision is for USA, Mexico and Canada, for this to happen there are three decisions that needed to be made. The second decision in the string will give guarantees from your nation to both of the other two nations. And the final decision in the string will make you inherit the other nations, although you would need a 190 opinion from them.
There are also now decisions to make Japan, Australia and New Zealand join the UNION, as well as India join the HRL, diplomatically. For all you would need to be in an alliance with said country and they would need a 180 opinion of you, as well as your leading having a 5 in diplomacy.
