New implementation of randomized brake squeal - chances of it being heard only apply if the left window is open.

Dry wiper sound feature should now automatically switch to wet wiper sound after 11 wipes regardless of windshield state.
This is useful for cases of incompatible mod load orders - only affects the default wiper sound.

Rework of tire sound on asphalt mix with a blend of tire whine and interior rumbles, now better adapted for all camera views.
Temporary 1.43 truck attenuation fixes are now expired. This is in order to pave the way for sound mods that will implement their own attenuation for the base game trucks.

If you don't have a sound mod that provides soundproofing for your base game truck, you can use these:

Horn sounds added for the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204 2008) in AI traffic.
"Removed harvester sound" feature is back and ready for grimes' seasonal mods, with the exception of New Summer. [ETS2 edition]

-- Other news --
Winter sounds addon has been updated to version 2. It's available on the Steam Workshop in time for the Winter season.

For TruckyMods users: Guest downloads are now available for the Sound Fixes Pack.
It is no longer mandatory to sign up to download the mod from there.

Note: The 1.43 attenuation and equalization fixes for interior cabins of vanilla game trucks will expire in the next mod update on December 14, 2021.

It is likely future engine sound mods or an official patch will now adapt to fix the attenuation issues.

Fixes for sound equalization and dampening from the interior cabin sound update.
This will stop the sound from being louder than outside in vanilla game trucks.
