v1.0.4.3.1:

~Added in an override to CannotTakeDamage to the enchanted ice statue status effect. This is an experimental attempt to take account of most damage types except from world causing damage.

~Made changes to how contact and melee damage is checked for Enchanted Ice Hat's explosive build up charge mechanic. Seeing if it will accept more kinds of attacks without failing to.

~Making the next attempt to prevent fellow hat kids from being lifted by ice slams.

v1.0.4.3:

+Made further adjustments to enchanted ice statue's physics to be much more consistent and normal, removed much of the jankiness it previously had. It also now bounces off walls while on the floor properly and slides off slopes very similarly to the original ice statue (at least as properly as the engine allows it to be). It's physics is now almost completely fixed.

Issues:

-Enchanted Ice Hat's physics still climbs up slopes. Expect a future update to address this issue.

-Previous attempt to fix players not getting knocked upward failed. In reference to fixing the aforementioned issue, a new attempted fix will be pushed next update.

-Some attack types may not be preventable for the enchanted ice hat's ability to circumvent some sources of damage. Continuing to research if its possible to protect from all damage, but also preparing to accept that some attacks may be designed to get around any form of ice hat protection or player blinking.

+Adjusted the sliding physics of the enchanted ice statue to be less janky. Expect it to slide a bit more consistently outside of a few odd cases.

+Testing a check to make sure players are not getting knocked upwards by the enchanted ice statue's slam unintentionally.

Issues:

-with Ice Hat and Enchanted Ice Hat with mana powers turns off, using ice statue in the cold water portions of the Ice Challenge area will get you stuck in it until duration wears out.

+Fixed some issues with certain fail jump recovery volumes not covering enough of an area to trigger for both Ice and Fire Challenge areas.

+Fixed an unintentional skip in the Fire Challenge side found in the first part of it.

+Increased the size of a couple of breakable crates to prevent them from being climbed up at the beginning of the first part of the Fire Challenge.

~Introduced black listing of enchanted hats for all challenge areas except wind, where only the hat the challenge is designed for is available until teleported back to the trial area or beginning of the 1st map.

~Converted the Lava Volume into a Fail Jump Recovery Lava Volume in the 4th/Fire Trial.

Update v1.0.4 is here! Introducing what I like to call, the 'Fire & Ice' update! The Enchanted Ice Hat is OUT! Give the power of ice and water a try after picking it up from the mirror! Also included not one, but TWO challenges of ice and fire! Get the stickers at the end of each!

+Enchanted Ice Hat Introduced

+The Fire Challenge and Ice Challenge are now in. Each one is found at their respective trials, which are the 4th/Fire Trial area and the 3rd/Ice Trial area, and appears after clearing the mod map the first time.

+Two new stickers introduced at the end of each new challenge area.

+The mana tutorials now have information on the Enchanted Ice Hat.

+Two new decals are added.

+Shortcuts to the fire challenge area and ice challenge area each are introduced. They are unlocked after clearing their respective trials for the first time.

Future Content Planned:

~There will be something special that happens at the top of the tower between the shrines at the end of the Ice and Fire Challenge areas! Stay tuned!

~A future update will include providing some vague hints on how to proceed in the previous challenge areas.

Issues:

-Enchanted Ice Hat's physics outside of most water volumes is currently being refined and fixed. Feel free to report them when you encounter them.

-Be advised: switching mana powers while in mid air of an ice panel launch and landing with the different intended ice statue will lock you in the previous ice statue until the status duration runs out. Ex. On to Off while in enchanted hat's version of ice statue in mid air. Switch back to On before landing will avoid that issue, and vice versa.

-Discovered some weird interactions when hitting a ceiling out of enchanted ice hat's statue from water volumes, making the character stuck to the ceiling. Work around is to 'swim' towards open space where there is no ceiling to fall back down as intended.

-Exiting out of water by releasing statue form allows for a double jump, but not a jump dive. ETA is currently unknown when this will be fixed.

-The Ice Panel to mailroom in the HUB does not respond to the enchanted ice hat's statue. A fix will be found soon in a future patch.

-Some base game enemy attacks, most of which are ray traces from animated attacks, do not connect with any version of ice hat statues. It is unknown if a fix can be found, hence ETA is unknown. Nearly all contact damage works normally.

-Please report any issues where you are unable to exit either version of ice statue, in as much detail as possible. Apologies in advance for any shenanigans, and thank you for your assistance!

-The music in both mod levels do not lower volume with music volume settings. The issue is already known and should be fixed in a future update.

-Any remaining outstanding issues.
