so the items that could really do with a rewrk are the pith pike and the petrifying tome becauuse of the reworked recipes (the other items work in ananlogy to forge so idk i think i can suffer the bad art they have at the moment they dont destroy my immersion).

the vanilla recipe for the pith pike is 2 walrus tusks and 1 orange gem so it would be awesome if the orange gem could be socketed in there. but make sure that the pikes on both ends could look ambiguous enough to fit the starving floor recipe of spear + 9 hounds tooth.

the petrifying tome looks a bit too... stony at the moment, but since dst mobs dont petrify, they only freeze. it would be nice to have like an ice-looking book for it. the recipe for the "ice age" is currently 3 papayrs + 3 snowbirds + 3 nightmare fuel. its def not my favorite recipe of these items so feel free to elaborate on the idea of a book that freezes enemies with aoe.

as for the rest of the items. ive tried sticking close to forge for the forge items: they work, functionally, similarly. and i thnik the recipes sort of work well. conceptually, the weaker recipes would be the tome of beckoning. im thinking of the legend of the golem of the jewish getto. but then wickerbottom's quote says that they are besoars which contradicts the . so feel free to elaborate on the idea! i can always actualize any ideas u have on how it would function.

the only other thing is that the current starving floor spearman loadout doenst look very nice. the colors clash. i currently dont have ideas on the problem, as to whether we should change the items or whether we should change the art. spearman is def one of the conceptually weaker classes of starving floor. the spear is unique and very well conceived but as for the headgear and the body gear that should go with it.. i dont really know.
