Icy Moons Update 1:

This update is released alongside the Icy Moons Update 1 for Rodrigo's Mod Redistributed. It won't change anything for people who do not have RMR installed, I highly recommend it. In the RMR update, planets fully covered in clouds are now much more uniform looking. I will likely be changing some cloud colors to make these planets look a bit more interesting.

  • Changed airless aquaria palettes to generate Tholin Patches when using RMR.
  • Changed airless aquaria palettes to color Driven Darkened hemispheres differently when using RMR.
  • Ice color of RMR europalikes is determined by the palette ice color.

Terra Update 1:

Finally, here are the long awaited Terra palettes... or well, the Airless and Arid ones. Sorry guys, you'll have to wait a bit longer for the Wet Terras. I haven't been as motivated recently to create for SpaceEngine, but I'll see when I get them out, and hope it wont be as long as this update took to make. These updates require a lot of effort to make, and they require a lot of time and tedious tasks to be done, so I hope you understand me taking my time, but if you don’t… um well unlucky I guess ;)

Now, with that aside, I would love to hear your feedback on the new palettes and their occurences. The weights are definitely open to change, so your finds may still change palettes. There are plenty of arid terras that are extremely rare, because of the high amount of palettes added. And because I know some of you are curious, the rarest one is 0.08% for temperate arid terras specifically. Happy exploring!

  • Added 54 airless terra palettes, bringing the total to 63.
  • Added 125 arid terra palettes, bringing the total to 154.
  • Vanilla SE arid terra palettes are now no longer locked to a certain star type, allowing you to see these palettes in new lights.
  • Changed aquaria_arid_exotic palettes to have a lower weight (now approximately 0.24%).
