The new weapon is simply a weapon with no model or texture so it looks like you are Katate chopping the zombies, If you have the new Swipe weapon equiped you can right click the Cat Gloves to Enlarge them
This makes the Gloves oversized and makes the Swipe attack look more like a claw attack than a karate chop

Currently the Cat Gloves + Swipe Weapon are unobtainable, but will add recipes for them in the future.
