Minor hotfix & adjust by users request:
  • All NPCs stealth ops & prone tacs have been restored to vanilla and [MinFreeMove Perk] also has been voided if [TGCN Tactical AI Perk System] option is turned "OFF".

  • Enemy Prone Explosion Resistance Level options redone. (Maximum = 60%)

  • Optimise the TGCN Tactical AI Perk System. (Increase battle performance smoothness)


Note: [Enemy Explosion Resistance Level] mod option must be reset to take effect.

Minor hotfix & adjust by users request:
  • All NPCs will be revealed to Mercs after the end of any combat if [TGCN Tactical AI Perk System] option is turned "OFF" (No ambush in TGCN Lite mode).

  • Add more Grenades & Shotgun class variants to AIArchetype 'Vanguard' (Stronger Shock troops).

  • Increase the aggressiveness of artillery support tactics for AIArchetype 'Adept' (More challenging at the mid-later game stage).


Note: This update is save-game friendly.

NEW mod options added: (TGCN = The Grand Chien Nightmare)
  • TGCN Tactical AI Perk System "ON\OFF" -- If turned off, all enemies\allies perks are vanilla but 'Hard Boiled' & 'Dead On Arrival' difficulty effects are voided.

  • TGCN Tactical Gear & Loot System "ON\OFF" -- If turned off, all enemies\allies gears & loots are vanilla but 'MAX-Compatibility' option tag in Nightmare Level must be selected if this option is 'OFF'.
    (AI may lose some function such as throwable grenade\gas\bomb, CQC sidearms switching capability, etc.)

  • Turning off all the above TWO options to achieve a "LITE VERSION" of TGCN mod. (AI Tactical improvement only)

  • Increase the aggressiveness of enemies high explosive grenade tactics.
    (AI CQC fighting is far more FATAL now!!!)

  • Enhance the enemy AI when they are alerted but faraway from core battlefield.
    (If AP is enough, the faraway NPCs are no longer wandering and will try to reach their enemies ASAP)

  • Optimise enemies\allies ammunitions and inventories. (Increase loading performance as well)

  • TGCN combat mechanism has been transferred to Gunfight Rework TGCN Edition.


Note: Change any mod option requires a RESTART of the game completely and a NEW game start to take effect.

Hotfix&Adjust:
  • Enemy 'Chasing' ability has been greatly nerfed and moved to Mod Option - 'Dead on Arrival' mode.
  • Enemy 'CQC' fatal ability has been moved to Mod Option - 'Dead on Arrival' mode.
  • Fix&Adjust enemy overall combat capabilities due to 1.4 patch updates.

    Mod Option - 'Hard Boiled' mode remains the same as pre-1.4 patch. So please choose this difficulty level if the challenge is not acceptable.

    Loads of coding optimisation done and preparing for a NEW mod option : 'Tactical AI ONLY' (A LITE version of TGCN is on the way).

Hotfix & Adjust:
On the Mod Option - 'Dead on Arrival' mode:

  • At the initial enemies reposition stage, they can gain "Grit" successfully from their perks now.
  • After the initial enemies reposition stage, their stealth tactics are nerfed during the next turn.

Minor updates:

  • Siegfried Super Soldiers (added from new questline "U-Bahn" on 1.4 patch) have joined in the nightmare mode.
  • Enemies\Allies armor is combined with new 'Kompositum58' added by 1.4 patch.
  • New item 'Combination Kompositum58' has a rare drop chance from any loot.
  • Later stage enemies have a higher chance to equip camo series amor.
  • All enemies now have farther sight radius during combat phases; this function is prepared for a new upcoming mod "Overhaul - Gunfight Rework Remastered Edition".

The major update for Patch 1.4.x has arrived!

  • !!!Drastically enhance the challenge of the Mod Option - 'Dead on Arrival'!!!
  • If alerted, all enemies (excluding those who are not aware), during tactical reposition phase, on the Mod Option - 'Dead on Arrival', will activate 'nightmare mode' instantly.
    i.e. Player's pre-ambush overwatches\MG-setups might be mostly useless because of enemies enhanced stealth tactics;
    Mercs might be instantly stealth killed even in the initial phase;
    Unintended alerting enemies or positioned badly during the initial phase, will be FATALITY!
  • All enemies will be activating a chasing mode if Mercs are trying to retreat\escape from the main battlefield!
  • Story-based NPCs are no longer enjoy nightmare mode to avoid certain unknown bugs!
  • Livewire's personal perk is REMOVED!


Do NOT choose the Mod Option - 'Dead on Arrival' if you are not able to smoothly finish the game under 'Hard Boiled' mode. You have been warned!

A NEW game-start must be needed for this major update.
