the consequences of my own actions
" I am not good at balancing, so usually when I buff/change things I get asked to nerf them pretty fast. so here's the nerfs

KIRBY (Fighter) -

- Weight decreased (77 > 75)
" As lighter characters have been entering the workshop, me being afraid of Kirby being a featherweight compared to everyone else has gone down a bit. So now Kirby is lighter

-Forward Air startup and endlag increased.

-Back Air startup and endlag increased, and knockback scaling decreased.
" Nobody has really complained about Back Air, which means Back Air hasn't been nerfed. Which makes me think nobody has ever used back air, because Back Air is really fast and really good. Now it's less-so, to hopefully avoid people discovering how back air used to be.

-Air Puff (ZAir) now has a cooldown.
" This is to prevent you from using it to stall forever, and also create walls of 1-damage dinks.
-Air Puff (ZAir)'s physical hitbox damage reduced.
" Another 'now that it isn't FAir, i should probably do this' change.
-Air Puff (ZAir) autocancel moved waaaaaaaay back (forward? it autocancels Later.), and endlag increased
" oops.
~Air Puff (ZAir)'s projectile now rockets back towards Kirby on reflection.
" this gives incentive to parry/reflect it!

it's time for Spring (or Fall, if you're up north) Cleaning

KIRBY (Fighter) -

+Somewhat hackjob solution implemented that restores 1 air-jump if it gets eaten by buffering a double jump through an IASA.
"IASA has a lot of odd bugs. This should prevent your precious jumps from being snacked on.

~Forward Tilt entirely reworked
"Now it's more like smashy bros!! We love smashy bros.

+Base Forward Strong damage and knockback growth increased.
"Completely uncharged FStrong felt a bit too weak. This should help it feel a little stronger!

~NAir's first hitbox has more base knockback, and sends slightly higher.
+NAir's second hitbox greatly increased in size.
"Truth be told, the hitboxes were kindof a Fraynkie leftover. Now it connects both hits MUCH more reliably.

+Up Strong's starting slices end faster.
-Up Strong goes significantly less high.
+Up Strong can be cancelled into SUPER Up Strong 1 frame earlier.
-SUPER Up Strong's falling hitbox's downwards range reduced.
+SUPER Up Strong's slam now attempts to take priority over the cutter projectile's hitbox.
~Up Strong and SUPER Up Strong have been tweaked a lot damage-wise.
"Up Strong was one of the moves that bugged me the most. this should fine-tune it a lot

+Air Puff (ZAir)'s projectile hitbox is now active immediately.
+Air Puff (ZAir)'s physical hitbox extends more behind Kirby, allowing for a "bubble butt" hit.
~Air Puff (ZAir) sends slightly more inwards.
"since Air Puff is no longer FAir, it felt odd having a delay for the projectile to become "active." Now it's a bogstandard, very dinky projectile.

+Star Rod (Side Special, Ground) startup reduced by 2 frames.
"it felt just a liiiiittle too slow. this should help it

~Taunts have been re-arranged. (STaunt is now NTaunt, NTaunt is now DTaunt, and DTaunt is now STaunt.)
"Partially inspired by Kirby Air Riders, but also because I thought NTaunt took too long. now it defaults to a shorter one.

"the Palette Selector's border is a bit thinner than the full icon, so this is added so you can quickly identify your favorite colored shoes.

~Intro Animation extended a bit to match the new standards.

Hi! It's been a while, huh? A lot of time has passed, so let's get down to brass tacks.

KIRBY (Fighter) -

= Air Puff moved to ZAir
+ New Forward Air!
" When I first made Kirby (Super Star,) i thought air puff fair was the funniest thing. simply a genius, yet horrible, idea. turns out i was atleast half right, it sure was a horrible idea. Now he has a normal FAir! Hopefully he'll feel a lot more natural of a fighter to play as now. I hope you enjoy the new FAir, inspired by a neighboring pink balloon!

+ Air Puff (ZAir)'s hitstun increased (1.0x > 1.2x)
" This should hopefully make Air Puff feel more rewarding to hit. Given that you can now use it while drifting more freely too, it should open up a lot of options

= NAir's 2nd hitbox angled more upwards (40 > 55)
" Now that Forward Air is an actual Forward Air, NAir hitting straight sideways didn't feel right. Now it hits more diagonally, which opens up a lot of options with Air Dash!

- Endlag on Back Air and Up Air significantly increased
" Now I'm no competitive player, but Up Air ladders and swinging around Kirby's best kill move certainly made him feel a bit too strong from what I've seen. They're still fast, and they're still strong, but now they won't do your dishes. Mostly. I Hope.

- Gravity and Weight both decreased by 2 (Gravity 0.48 > 0.46, Weight 79 > 77)
" As more characters have entered the workshop, Kirby felt a bit heavier than he should be. These changes should make him easier to knock around, kindof making him a faux glass cannon.

AI Performance Fix

+ Gaming (the creator of the Improved AI) updated the performance to run a lot better, so I updated Kirby in kind! Now you can play a Free-For-All with many determined Kirbys and not experience lag ! It's still exclusive to Level 9, so remember that! thank you gaming <3
