*New Up Special - Rising Sandpikes: Four sandpikes begin to form and rise up attacking opponents above Gaara. There’s a sourspot and a sweetspot tipper.
- Decreased runSpeed from 9.5 to 8
- Decreased run Speed initial from 6.5 to 5.75
- Decreased runSpeed acceleration from 0.6 to 0.5

(Shukaku: Charge! Changes)
- Decreased KnockbackGrowth from 90 to 80 on final hit
- Decreased KnockbackBase from 85 to 75 on final hit
- Halved the distance of the move
- Decreased the damage from 2 to 1.5 per hit before final hit

* New Shukaku Move: Geyser Smash - Gaara transforms into Shukaku and smashes his fist to the grounds releasing three sand geysers to sprout up horizontally. Dealing medium damage each hit, really useful in landing K.O’s Long cooldown as usual. (Jab1 + (Hold) B + B)
+ Removed 8 startup frames from Jab3
* Fixed Size of Sand Layer in Forward Strong In
+/- Changed angle from 50 to 40 for Forward Strong
+ Increased damage from 0.5 to 1 per hit for Up Strong’s Sourspot

1.0.2 (New Shukaku Move & Steam Page Update)
*New Shukaku Move: Charge! - Gaara transforms into Shukaku and rushes across the stage dealing great damage. (Multi-hit move) First 7 hits are weak, the last hit (if landed) is the powerful blow. Hitbox is only on Shukaku's feet and sometimes hands, so some of this move's hits can miss depending on the opponent.

1.0.1 (New Shukaku Move, Down Special Upgrade, & Nerfs)
* New Shukaku Move: Smash - Jab1 + Jab2 + (Hold) B) - Shukaku is summoned and simply smashes the ground. If his fist hits the opponent, the opponent receives heavy-ish damage.
+ Down Special now has Launch Resistance (30 damage per stage) (In stage 1, 2, and 3 (Before the huge attack)) Opponents can still rack up damage on you as you charge the down special through the three stages, but Gaara won’t be able to be launched until he reaches Down Special Strike where he deals the final blow. Can still be interrupted if the opponent attack him as he’s about to bring out the final blow.
+ Aerial Down Special now has Launch Resistance. (Same as Down Special)
* Moved hitboxes for Forward Air
- Reduced dashspeed from 11.5 to 11
- Added 6 to 7 frames of endlag to Down Tilt
- Added 2 frames of startup to Down Tilt
