Playing with Expanded Stellaris Ascension Perks mod is now optional and all gestalts should have access to One Vision, Imperial Prerogative, Executive Vigor and Transcendent Learning. If you chose to add Expanded Stellaris Ascension Perks mod, Sartek Merger now detects the mod and replaces those perks with their respective Gestalt variants from that other mod. Thanks again @Stetrisky for the report.

Added an scripted variable to detect my mod during parsing (only relevant to other modders).

* Added weapon_lost_tech_weapon_damage_mult = 0.33 (ZOFE) to AP Archaeoengineers as suggested by @Aphyxia
* ZOFE has no changes to Ascensions or Traditions so it is compatible already.
* Updated vanilla comparison files for next update.

Ascension Perks and Paths:

  • Merged script conditions for Xeno-Compatibility AP when you use Dynamic Political Events mod.
  • Merged script conditions for Empires Expanded mod for Organo-machine interface, Engineered evolution and Consecrated Worlds APs.
  • Added respective placeholders to reduce error log size.
  • Added an event to detect and create a custom global flag for Ascension Perks Broadened (This mod includes a few global flags, but they are only used to verify if AP tiers are unlocked; they are not reliable for determining if Ascension Perks Broadened is active or not since the user could select one option or the other).
  • Created a unity ascension path for Gestalts since they were missing one in comparison to regular empires when using a lot of Ascension Perk mods. Please refer to the newly uploaded screenshot. AP Unity of Thoughts (Reworked Advanced Ascensions) and AP Our true vision (Ascension Perks Broadened) REQUIRE AP One Purpose (Expanded Stellaris Ascension Perks). Thus, the prerequisite for initiating the ascension path is having Expanded Stellaris Ascension Perks activated.

Economic categories:
  • planet_bio_trophies now has a new parent (parent = planet_culture_workers), this is a vanilla change.
  • Added - modifier_type = add - ship_nanite_swarmer so it resembles how it works for every other ship.
  • By default - ship_nanite_swarmer - has a - triggered_cost_modifier - but now with this mod there is also a triggered_upkeep_modifier so it resembles how it works for every other ship.

It seems planetary Diversity changed "has_origin = origin_pd_tree_of_life" TO "has_origin = origin_pd_aw_tree_of_life" in a few APs (Detox, Hive Worlds and World Shaper), mod updated to reflect these changes.

Ascension Perks and Paths:

  • Ascension Perks and Paths now have new script rules for newest DLC
  • Adjusted some ascension perks' conditions to reflect vanilla changes.
  • Cosmogenesis rules added.
  • Aquatic robots rules added.
  • Mod dependencies will be adjusted later as other mods get updated. (NOTE TO MYSELF)
  • Cleaned up error log by adding some placeholders.

Economic Categories:
  • After the 3.12 update trade_routes no longer use a -generate_mult_modifiers = produces-
  • NOTE FOR MYSELF: Vanilla ships now use -modifier_types = {mult}- instead of -modifier_types = {add}-; my mod still has both.
  • Added planet_buildings_clone_vats and expanded mult and add modifiers just like other buildings.

    All APs as applicable:
  • Added support for z Expanded Traits, Civics, Pops, and More.
  • Changed from - has_ethic = ethic_gestalt_consciousness - to - is_gestalt = yes - (No changes if playing with vanilla ethics)
  • Changed from - has_valid_civic = civic_fanatic_purifiers - to - is_homicidal = yes - (This effectively means that not just purifiers but also machine terminators and devouring swarms are included if only playing vanilla ethics)
  • AI weight include Expanded Pops changes.

    Lord of War:
  • Updated old - leader_generals_cost_mult - to - leader_commanders_unity_cost_mult -

    Nihilistic Acquisition:

  • Added script for "improved_core_worlds" (Expanded Pops mod).

    Machine Worlds:
  • Now grants a similar buff like World Shaper AP (terraform_speed_mult = 0.25 & terraforming_cost_mult = -0.25)

    Hive Worlds:
  • Now grants a similar buff like World Shaper AP (terraform_speed_mult = 0.25 & terraforming_cost_mult = -0.25)

    Detox:
  • Deactivated while using Expanded Pops mod because World Shaper does the same when using that mod.
