  • Safe Mode removed
  • Fixed distribution sandbox options not applying in most situations
  • Removed dependency on Item Tweaker and Profession Framework
  • Fixed Literacy level not rendering in character creation.
  • Fixed some (harmless) warnings on the server about unknown traits
  • General performance improvements.
  • Replaced any globals created by this mod with modules. If your mod hooks into this one it may need to be updated for compatibility. I don't think any mods are actually affected though.
  • May help with issues with the literacy magazine not removing the illiterate trait.

Bugfixes:
Fixed an issue where previously illiterate characters sometimes had 0% reading speed

New:

  • New trait: 'Poor Reader' - reduces the XP multiplier gained from reading books by 25%.
  • New Sandbox Option: 'Illiterate: Permanent Penalty' - Leaves you with some negative traits even after reading the 'Learn to Read!' magazine, hopefully making Illiterate less powerful of a pick. Current selection is between 'Very Slow Reader' and both Poor Reader and Slow Reader together
  • New Sandbox Option: 'Literacy Magazine Craftable' - you can now stop the magazine from being crafted without disabling spawns entirely
  • Overall Reading Speed and XP Multiplier sandbox options now take a number, instead of preset values

Misc:
  • Added Mod Manager metadata and icon
  • Some refactoring of code - should run a bit better and is a little cleaner
  • Revised some English text
  • Improved readability of branding image

Bugfixes:
  • Fixed weird decimal reading speeds at low levels
  • Fixed Overall Reading Speed Multiplier actually working in reverse
  • Fixed general bugginess of Learn to Read magazine

Fixed book selection sandbox options not working in co-op
Added sandbox variable to disable the spawning and crafting of the 'Learn to Read!' magazine (This will not delete existing magazines if disabled)
Added missing translation file for the magazine recipe
Safe mode is now on by default as most people use mods that would need you to turn it off anyway
