Trying something a little different:

New Powers:

Reserve (Purple): Discard to set aside a piece in hand and draw another. For the remainder of the Round, you may trade between your Hand and the set-aside piece.

Concentrate (Gold): Discard to be able to place one Focus starting on any border, ignoring the rule that it must connect to a same colored focus.

Move remains the same.

Clarification that these powers may be used any time on a turn and in tandem. Example: You could use Move to put a piece in hand, exchange it, then discard the Concentrate to place it on any Border, and then place your piece.

New Catch-up mechanism:

Whenever a Player is shot, they choose one of their opponent's "Empty" Tokens to be replaced with a Power-up of their choice. When they reveal one of these during the Locate Phase, they gain that power up.

With this change, Location Grids are no longer flipped.

Real -Time:
This is way fun!! New Rules are that the Hide and Location phases act as normal until one player reveals the other. From there:
The Player who was Located: They may finish their Location Phase in Real Time. They must place a Focus before drawing another.
When a Player Locates another they move onto the Fire Phase and flip the 15 Second Timer (10 works well too, depends how much pressure you want)
They then place any Focus earned from the Location Phase.
From then on, they may only draw a new Focus after they have placed their Focus AND when the Timer is up. Start a new Timer every time you draw a Focus.
