New Unit Cards and Abilities
A big thank you to Mandras who has allowed me the use his new unit cards from A Blackbriar Topiary - REMASTERED IN THX and abilities in my mod.
  • New unit cards
  • Renamed units
  • Dryad bow projectile
  • Bow dryads have an ability "Rain of Thorns"
If your game has suddenly started crashing with my mod loaded, you'll need to subscribe to Mandras' mod.

Dropped Explosion AP damage from 45 to 10 on explosion from Blackbriar Topiary.
Increased same stat on standard Wood Elf bowtreeman from 10 to 45.
Increased upkeep for RoR from 475 to 550.

Finally chose an animation for the RoR version that matches its level devastation.

The Malevolent and standard Bowtreeman have identical damage output, except the Malevolent variant fires 3 projectiles with 1/3 the damage, so more suited to cavalry than single-entities.

Other animation and sound changes.

Dropped melee defense on RoR and buffed its melee attack.

Updated unit card bullet points.

Increased RoR campaign cap from 1 to 2.

Updated for Twisted & Twilight to match base mod

  • Unit base stats—aside from missile weapons for Bowtreeman and HP for all units—are now identical to base mod.
  • I still need to come up with a unique missile weapon for the Malevolent Bowtreeman
  • Passive abilities added to all units; nothing crazy.


    As of this time, SFO isn't updated, so if you use it with SFO, it will crash. Reminder: SFO is not required to run this mod, but it is not balanced for Vanilla. Like, at all. Not even a little bit.

New Units
The Bowtreeman (High Elves)
This is not very impressive on its own. It fires several bolts at a 30 degree angle. If they hit an unarmored infantryman, it will kill it. However, after a few seconds, it explodes. Thus, a target which is under fire from this unit and inside its kill/casualty radius will be affected by Take Cover! and Shield Breaker, making them very easy targets for the Sisters. This unit is only recruitable by Alarialle.

Dryad Bowmen
Brought their HP and armor up to SFO standards; a little more armor than Light Archers, for reference. HP is about the same as any other low-tier archer unit in SFO.
Nerfs
Nothing crazy, but the detonation radius of the RoR version was dropped by 2m and AP damage was bumped by 20 points or something like that. Also changed the visuals and sound effects.
SFO Requirement
SFO is no longer required, but I really don't know why anyone would bring this into a vanilla campaign.
