The "Toggle Idle Unit Cards" now defaults to off for the beginning of the battle. You can turn it on (or off again) using the hotkey before the battle starts, or at any point during the battle. For defensive armies, almost all units are going to be idle at the beginning anyway, so I figured that having it on by default might be annoying.
