  • Added an exclusion list to prevent specific items from showing up in the Pistol Slot, despite meeting all the criteria. You can find more informations about this change in the guide that has been properly updated to reflect this addition.

    This functionality was asked (and the relevant code provided) by FearTheBunnies. All credits go to them for the idea and the implementation.

  • As a followup to the prior update, the Pistol Overwatch bugfix toggle and relative functionality have been removed, as they are now redundant.

  • Fixed an issue causing the mod to add items to the slot regardless of the slot's status (empty or full), causing an item multiplication bug.

  • The Pistol Overwatch bugfix is now toggable in the configuration ini. The reason why is because it forces the game to display only one Pistol Overwatch abilities regardless of their actual number, making Primary Pistol soldiers with a Pistol in the Dedicated Slot lose one of their Pistol Overwatch abilities. Since it's a pretty niche case, the fix is still on by default.

  • Prevented an issue causing the Pistol Overwatch ability to multiply itself endlessly with each mission. Note that I didn't fix it, as my mod wasn't the one responsible, but I managed to solve the symptoms, if not the cause. Now you will always have only one instance of Pistol Overwatch.

  • Fixed an issue that would cause the Pistol Slot to get stuck to a class that shouldn't have access to it if promoted from a Rookie with access to the slot.
