1 Detailed Annotation (2 Energy - Spell Modifier: Gain 50(75)% Spell Effectiveness.)
3 Defends
2 Icy Defends (1 Energy - Spell Effect: Gain 5(8) Block.)

Hopefully this makes the introduction to modular spellcasting a better experience than just arcane barrier which was counter intuitive.

Changed how scribed spell is given. It is now given to you under two conditions: upon playing a spell effect, and while you have said spell effect. After casting the scribed spell, you will cease to receive it until you play another spell effect. Removed the Spell Scribe’s Pen, reworked Spell Scribe’s Scroll. It now gives you the option of choosing 1 of 3 cards to shuffle into your draw pile at the start of combat. This makes the starting relic less essential, and not completely useless on other characters. Changed character select button picture.

Forked Bolt now causes cards drawn by it to cost 0. Added new relic: Permafrost Pen

Added Deluge, Added Crippling Charge. Added Scroll of Poison. Buffed Incendio from 16(23) to 22(28)

Lightning Blade Text changed very slightly, added thunder as a keyword to clear confusion on what it is. Fixed Escalation applying on loss of spell effects as well.
