Chess Piece Updates
● New Chess Piece: Elder Titan($5 Tauren God Druid)
Ability - Earth Splitter: Sends forth a jagged crack in front of Elder Titan. After 3 seconds, the crack implodes, stunning while dealing damage to each enemy based on their maximum life. Half of the damage dealt is Magical damage, while the other half is Physical damage.
● Reworked Bounty Hunter's Shuriken Toss:
Shuriken Toss: Hurls a deadly shuriken at the enemy of the lowest health, dealing damage and mini-stunning the target. A lesser shuriken then bounces to the second lowest-health enemy and deals damage that is 1 rank lower.
● Legion Commander now benefits Press The Attack bonus damage from Loot Rounds. Decreased bonus damage per stack from 10/20/40 to 10/20/30. Promoted Legion Commander now inherits the highest Press The Attck bonus damage stacks from the minor pieces, instead of adding them together.
● Mars is no longer in defense stance and is able to atttack as other chess pieces do. Bulwark now has a knock-back effect.
Bulwark: Mars wields his massive shield to block a portion of each physical attack when hit from the front or sides. Periodically, Mars smashes and knocks back enemies in 3-grid range in front of him with his shield, dealing physical damage.
● Increased Tusk's base attack cooldown from 1.2 to 1.3 sec.
● Decreased Timbersaw's Whirling Death cooldown from 6/5/4 to 6/4/3 sec.
● Decreased Nature's Prophet Nature's Call Treant base armor from 5 to 4.
● Balanced Meepo's base health from 750/1500/2400 to 750/1500/2250.
● Improved Visage's Familiar base attack cooldown from 1.4 to 1.3 sec, base mana regeneration from 0/5/10 to 5/10/20.
● Least Wins Prize of the Month: Dark Willow has been temporarili removed from the game. She will be back after balancing and rework.

Synergy Updates
● Added (4) Tauren's Totem of the Clan:
(2) Taurens: Summons a Scarecrow Totem at the start of the battle. (Changed the name of Taunt Totem)
(4) Taurens: Summons a Woodpecker Totem and a Horn Totem at the start of the battle.
Woodpecker Totem: Whenever an enemy chess piece casts ability, Woodpecker Totem has 50% chance to silence the caster for 6 sec and deal 500 magical damage.
Horn Totem: Whenever an enemy chess piece attacks, Horn Totem has 10% to disarms the aggressor for 3 sec and deal 250 physical damage.
● Balanced Elves' Evasion:
(3) Elves: All friendly elves have +20% evasion.
(6) Elves: All allies have +25% evasion. (up from 20%)
(9) Elves: All allies have +20% evasion. Any successful dodge creates an illusion of the chess piece. (previously only evasions under (9) Elves' 20% chance creates illusion)
● Tome of Knowledge now grants the bonus XP with rounding up to the nearest integer. (from rounding down)
● Tome of Knowledge and Heart of the Machine can now be obtained in Loot Rounds.

Gameplay Optimization
● Fog of War: Dynamic Fog of War now covers chessboards that you are now currently spectating to reduce graphic resource usage and potentially mitigate lagging issues in postgames.
● Dismiss Optimization: Added a Dismiss button in Chess Piece List panel to quickly Dismissed selected group of pieces.
● Chess Piece AI Optimization: Path is now calculated in 3-grid segments instead of one single way to mitigate the problem of passing by an enemy without having a battle.
● Loot Rounds Updates: Tome of Knowledge and Heart of the Machine can now be obtained in Loot Rounds. Legion Commander also benefits from Lott Round victories with Press The Attack. Loot Rounds do not break your winning streak or losing streak as before.

Bug Fixes
● Fixed the unavailable button bug caused by moving and recalling chess pieces.
● Fixed a bug that may cause a server down from interactions of Nyx Assassin's Carapace with Monks' Druken Stagger or Blademail.
● Fixed a bug that Meepo can potentially replicate forever.
● Fixed a bug that requires a move when promoting Meepo★★★.
● Fixed a bug which Lv.7 pieces may be Hexed into Meepo★★★ that is Lv.6.
● Fixed Morphling's Wave Form bug that may cause melee pieces to attack him from further grids.
● Fixed Sladar★★★ visual effect bugs with Immortal item. He now has a Golden version of the helmet.

End-of-Season Rewards
● The EoS rewards for S9 Strange Egg (01/09 to 31/10) is based on the following:
♕Top 20 Queens (on Leaderboard): S9 Badge + ♕Queen rewards.
♕Queen: 320 Candies + S9 Crown (valid for S10) + Golden Easter Drodo (Legendary Courier).
♔King: 320 Candies + Silver Easter Drodo (Epic Courier).
♖Rook: 160 Candies + Green Easter Drodo (Rare Courier).
♗Bishop: 80 Candies + White Easter Drodo (Common Courier).
♘Knight: 40 Candies.
♙Pawn: 20 Candies.
● Top 20 Queens are rewarded based on their final places and the other ranks are rewarded for the highest rank achieved in the season.
● As usual, the last of the season (31/10) will be the off season break to award the execellent players. Games played on the day does not affect Rankings. New season S9 Strange Egg starts from 01/11!
● Although Faceless Void has lost to Spectre during the Arcana vote, he has won the most votes (27%) over Troll Warlord (20%) and Spectre (13%) during S9 Favourite Chess Piece Votes. He is expected to join DOTA AUTO CHESS sometime in the middle of S10.

Synergy Updates
● Added new effect for Kobolds' Divided We Stand:
(1) Kobold: When a Kobold piece reaches ★★★, it duplicates a copy. If you control a pair of identical Kobold pieces on the chessboard, summon a replica for each pair of identical chess pieces when battle starts.
● Transformed chess pieces by (4) Shaman's Hex no longer retain item bonuses.
● Humans' Spark of Mind: Changed ToK awarding rule.
(3) Humans: Grants a Tome of Knowledge at the start of a round.
(6) Humans: Grants 2 Tome of Knowledge upon winning a home battle with at least 1 friendly Human piece survived. (from 1 ToK guaranteed and 1 bonus when winning home battles)
● Trolls' Voodoo Frenzy: Slight changed the effect and text description.
(2) Trolls: Increases the attack speed of all allies by 20.
(4) Trolls: Increases the attack speed of all allies by 20. (down from +25)
(6) Trolls: All allies gain +15 attack speed for each succcessful attack. Maximum 15 stacks.

● Balanced Meepo's Poof damage from 125/250/500 to 150/200/250.
● Decreased Luna's base armor from 2 to 1.
● Increased Phantom Assassin;s base damage from 85 to 90.
● Decreased Treant Protector's Leech Seed duration from 5/6/7 to 5/6/6 sec.
● Decreased Terrorblade's Metamorphosis bonus damage from 70/90/120 to 60/80/100, increased bonus attack speed from 30/40/60 to 40/50/60.
● Increased Storm Spirit's Ball Lightning cooldown from 6/5/4 to 5/4/3 sec.
● Decreased Enigma's base health from 1000 to 950.

● Attempted to fix the bug with physical damage dealing abilities missing their hits with debuff from Cinder Brew.
● Meepo★★★ and Meepo★★ now correctly provide Iron Fist stacks to friendly Ogres upon death.
● Fixed SoundFX played when double-clicking Buy Xp but with insufficient gold.
● Fixed Meepo tooltip missing from Species and Class descriptions.
● Now Luna will be correctly dimmed in Chess Piece List if either Elf or Knight is Dismissed.

● New Chess Piece: Meepo ($3 Kobold Inventor) has joined the game!
Drawing mystical energies from the earth, a Meepo teleports to the side of an enemy, dealing damage in arrival locations.
● Luna ($1 Elf Knight) has rejoined the game! (preiviously $2)
Moon Glaives: Empowers Luna's glaives, causing her attacks to bounce between enemy units. Deals less damage with each bounce.
● Pudge ($3 Undead Warrior) has been temporarily removed from the game for potential bugs.
