This guide will throw you into the world of Beam Axle Suspention, how to build, tune, and test it. As far as I know, this is the only guide that offers a tutorial on this type of suspention.

This helped me build my first car in DCB. Very clear and easy to follow, i base all my cars off of your tutorials some way or another. ;-)

If your car is flipping, the center of gravity might be too high. Consider lowering the ride height.

Hello, do you know how to fix the issue where turning, the car sort of goes out of control and just flips? I don't know how related it is to suspension, but... :P

I think I got it...use sandbox mode. Doing that, the game does not object to adding your car to the map unfinished, right? :)

If you have an engine installed you have to connect the transmissions before you can load in. When I'm making my suspension, I don't add an engine until I'm done.

Hi Skropeling, have been enjoying your guides and YT vids! Hoping you could help me, a newbie, with a basic question: When I try to visit a map during a design, I am told I cannot because I don't have my transmission installed, or other such issue for a complete car.

But I see you visit maps when your designs are not complete, so you can get a quick idea of the suspension and steering. How do you do that? Is there a setting?
