As for breaking thrust, I set the dampening system to use the same amount of force as the normal thruster, so if you can slow down in time, so can it. I kept it to a multiplier of 1 for realism. (Yes, that's how the dampening system works. The thrusters have their own multiplier value for it, but if you try to slow it down yourself, it doesn't use it. Only if you use the dampeners, unless Keen changed it since I learned it the hard way...)
