What is "Wrong Wire"?

Introversion Software, when they first teased Scanner Sombre in an update video, also teased another game they might develope: "Wrong Wire".

Wrong Wire is a unique bomb defusal game; unique in the sense that it hyper-realistically simulates the devices and circuitry commonly found in actual time bombs. Within this prototype of the game, there are four different bombs that can be tinkered with and defused, but you must first learn the circuitry behind them, or else. There isn't much to this prototype at the moment, but it's still fun to try out.

How to play Wrong Wire

What you will first want to do is open the game folder of Scanner Sombre. If you don't know how to do this, then go into your Steam Library, right click on Scanner Sombre and select "properties", go to the tab "Local Files" and click on the option "Browse Local Files".

Once you are in the game files you should see a folder titled "Prototypes" in your explorer. Open it, then open the subfolder titled "WrongWire".

After you get here, simply find and start up "wrongwire.exe", choose your prefered configuration from the menu that pops up, and then play the game. That's all there is to it. Press escape to find the option to quit out of the game.

You can access it ingame from Scanner after unlocking NG+. It's under Extras on the menu.

B1. Unscrew plate, check detonator guide and cut correct wire
B2. Unscrew case, attach EPROM Reader, enter 4 digit code on keypad
B3. 1. Cut finger off body, open case, use finger on reader and open inner case.
2. Attach EPROM Reader to inside of fingerprint reader, put finger on reader, read username
3. Attach EPROM Reader to other chip, read code (check username), key in code
4. Unscrew top panel, check detonator guide and cut wire

Click NEXT on the board while the message is displayed to advance to the fourth bomb.

B4. 1. Unscrew panel, attach serial reader to chip and click fingerprint reader. Read HEX code on serial reader.
2. Attach EPROM Tool to inside, and change first code to match the one you just read. Click fingerprint again to open casing.
3. Tap buttons in correct order to light all bulbs (2, 4, 3, 1, 5)
4. Ignore lasers - disable 3 detonators to power down bomb

You can actually access this from in game via the extra's menu (I don't know if it's there all of the time or only if you complete the game or complete new game+)
