What happened?!
The game won't render stuff at resolutions above 1080p.

This means that you - yes, you, the nerd in the corner with the 40 inch 8K monitor - shall witness a blurred upscaled mess in the fullscreen - instead of a crispy pristine picture that we, the people of PC Mustard Race, so deserve.
Who's to blame?!
This girl has been playing videogames on her damn phone all day long instead of testing our game properly. The gall.

What do?!
Download this fix[www.dropbox.com] and drop that dirty love file into your Superdimension Nep folder. That's where Neptune VSSega Hard Girls.exe is.

If you don't know where the hell your game's at, go to Library -> Right-click on Superdimension Nep -> Properties -> Local Files tab -> Browse Local Files.

Then unzip it into the same folder and open nep_config.txt

Config file has following options:
  • disable_outlines 0/1 - Remove those fugly black outlines on character models. And probably on some other objects too.
  • render_scale - Resolution multiplier for downsampling (if it's above 1), or upsampling - if below 1. Simple setting that scales resolution relative to game's maximum of 1080p. I'd recommend to leave it at 0 and use...
  • render_width and render_height - Sets exact resolution at which to render. More straightforward to use if your monitor res is above 1080p and you're playing in fullscreen.

Bummer :/ If you do decide to reimplement it someday (or if you have any documentation on what changes need to be done) I'd be grateful. Nonetheless, thanks for everything.

Pfff, so this means it's locked to 1080p even if you run in smaller window. Incrediblyat. Well, good for you :rennyf1:

Thank you very much! I wasn't able to play this game properly when I bought it. 'Twas always runnin' with GPU usage at 90-100 % even in small window. But after I downloaded this fix & set render for 720p I can finally play the game at 720p in fullscreen! :2017stickycrab:

Many thanks, I hope this wasn't too much effort given that probably five people have ever played this game and all of them have some form of AIDS (anime immunodeficiency syndrome)

Seriously though IF please start supporting arbitrary render & display resolutions. VII looked so much better with the mod that actually allowed for a 4K render + display... I'll let you keep reusing the same dungeons - even the factory - if you just do us this one

i finished testing the Rebirds1,2 n 3 with the fix on and all seems normal xd the tree leaves , the framerates and all

but i cant figure out why the leaves are invisible in Superdimension
i could play it like it is without the leaves but my heart will feel empty

also i cant reccomend it 2 my friends if i have problems like that with the game xd they also have crappy pcs like me
