Go to %Your steam folder%\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops\players
Open the config.cfg, find these cvars:

seta r_allow_intz "1"
seta r_allow_null_rt "1"

Change them to this:

seta r_allow_intz "0"
seta r_allow_null_rt "0"

@Luckygamer621 it doesn't; it's two config settings that are probably incompatible with modern processors.

For some reason my install of the game doesn't have this strange quirk. Never did the fix and I reinstalled to see if it were to occur randomly.
