This can be achieved only on hard difficulty. First fully upgrade the weapon on the first slot and then fully upgrade the weapon on the last slot and use only that. It's like machine gun. It shoots and kills fast. Of course grab the companion and rocket upgrades too. If you die on a level restart it cause you gonna loose your upgrades and it will be hard to continue until you get them again. Try to shoot everything so you can often get health and shield power-ups.
