Those unlock as you progress though story of the game. They cannot be missed.

Escaped the Sorrow... for now.

The entire party loves the Last Castoff.


Only your current (and full) party matters for this achievement, not all the available companions. So you only need to make 3 companions like you. It is rather easy and intuitive. Also, when what you do or say causes a big shift in an attitude of a companion towards you, you will get a helpful message saying that their opinion of you improved or worsened. You can also see that companions’ opinion of you changed when they change their answer to “how you’re doing?” question (exception: you can see Oom's opinion of you changing by his reaction to you petting him).

• Be nice to them in general and never force them to do something they do not want (e.g. being a test subject for Demeray and Obervich in the Bloom).
  
• Do their quests and resolve them in a way that benefits them.
  
• Buy them clothes upgrades in Miel Avest.
  
• Act in a way that they approve of. For example, Rhin, Erritis and Aligern like when you help the weak and generally act in a hero, Gold-Tide kind of way.

The entire party dislikes the Last Castoff.

• Be awful to your companions, always tell them to shut up and always be clear on how little you think of them.
  
• Force them (usually by Persuasion or Intimidation) to do stuff they don’t want to do (e.g. being a test subject for Demeray and Obervich in the Bloom).
  
• Do not buy them clothes upgrades in Miel Avest.
  
• Act in a way that they disapprove of. Be careful here though, some acts will make companions leave you for good if they already dislike you enough and you don’t want that (e.g. Aligern will leave if you actually sell Rhin to the Decanted) – you want them to stay and hate you, not hate you from afar.
  
• Resolve their quests in a way that they do not like or don’t do them at all.
  
• Feed a companion (or two if you have Rhin with you) that still doesn’t hate you enough to Aen-tozon in Little Nihliesh – this guy feeds on positive relationships.

I do not have extensive experience with disappointing all the companions, so descriptions below are not very detailed for all of them. If someone want to share his own experiences of what various companions disapprove of, I will gladly add them below. Some specifics:

• Aligern: claim that you are Changing God; help the Foreman in Underbelly make children and than take them all as numenera; agree with Min of Tan Liang instead of Aligern during conversation in the Order of Truth; give (or try and change your mind) Rhin back to the slavers; persuade Loss-of-Self to jump of the cliff; kill Aidan Sitabo after defeating him; try to sell Rhin to the Decanted; tell Aligern to use his tattoos more; (very important) don’t take him with you when you talk to Aadiriis in Miel Avest; (very important) feed him to the Maw in Little Nihliesh and do not pull him out.
  
• Erritis: give (or try and change your mind) Rhin back to the slavers; persuade Loss-of-Self to jump of the cliff; kill Aidan Sitabo after defeating him; kill rogue Stichus in Cliff’s Edge; try to sell Rhin to the Decanted; tell Skoura that you want to make Erritis stronger and than tell the same to the Audience.
  
• Rhin: be very mean to her during conversations with her (tell her you think she is out of her mind, tell her that what you do is your business not hers, tell her you love using the Tides to force people to do stuff, tell her to shut up etc.), persuade Loss-of-Self to jump of the cliff; kill Aidan Sitabo after defeating him; be mean to everybody around; sell Coty to the Decanted; feed Aligern and Matkina to the Maws.
  
• Matkina: do not help Clarion in the Fifth Eye Tavern with recruitment; agree with Paj during first conversation in Miel Avest and afterwards tell Matkina that she is just a jerk that interrupted a nice conversation you were having with Paj; (very important) do not help her reconcile with Melmoth in Miel Avest; (very important) feed her to the Maw in the Shrine of Great Chila.
  
• Callistege: do not give her the book (found in Buried Crossroads) she wants.
  
• Tybir: during his quest, allow him to kill Ragmin in the Shrine of Great Chila.
  
• Oom: be mean to him and do not let him touch you; tell him he disappoints you.

Easy way to get Despised (Thanks to Lujo)

1. Be an unhelpful bastard in Sagus Cliffs, with Erritis in your party, to lower his opinion of you (may not be necessary).
   
2. Be a jerk to Matkina in Miel Avest to lower her opinion of you.
   
3. With Rhin, Matkina and Erritis in your party, try to sell Rhin to the Decanted in the Bloom and insist on it. This will lower Rhin’s opinion of you all the way down and lower Erritis’ opinion as well.

You should hit Despised right there.

Another easy way to get Despised (Thanks to Laelaps)

1. Just when you start Bloom, take Erritis, Tybir and Rhin into your party.
   
2. Immediately rest (so Decanted shows up) and try to sell Rhin to Decanted. Erritis and Rhin should both hate you now.
   
3. Go to Aen-Tozon and feed him with Tybir. Then proceed with Tybir quest and always make rude comments ("we don't have time for that" etc) and in the end allow Tybir to kill Ragmin.

Now everyone in the party should hate you.

Aligern found his friends and family.


This one pops during the ending sequence. You need to be nice to Aligern and complete his quest.

1. Go with him to the Order of Truth and examine Orth Faung’s notes. Talk to Aligern about them and tell him to stop using his tattoos.
   
2. Go with him to examine the monument in the Valley of Dead Heroes.
   
3. Have him during the conversation with Aadiriis in Miel Avest (this is not really necessary for his quest but it is the turning point for Aligern where he changes his opinion of castoffs and starts to trust you more).
   
4. Talk to Orth Faung in the Chiurgeon Slump in the Bloom and recover the frame from the Murdens’ Treasure Room.
   
5. During the last talk with Orth Faung, tell Aligern that there may be some special sequence necessary to activate the frame.

During the end sequence, you will learn that Aligern managed to restore his friends and family to life with help of some acquaintance of his and the achievement will pop.


Made Aligern believe that you're the Changing God... and earned his love anyway.


Two things are necessary for this one: Aligern needs to believe that you are indeed the Changing God and he needs to come to like you in spite of that.
To accomplish the first part, simply keep Aligern with you in Sagus Cliffs and be sure to use every occasion to claim that you are the Changing God (say to everybody that you were the falling star; pretend you are Adahn during a talk with Salimeri; tell the Cult of the Changing God that you are him etc.). You do not need to act like Changing God would, you do not have to have same dominant Tides as him (Silver and Blue), all you need to do is claim that you are him. After several such claims (I wasn’t counting exactly, but I believe it was about five times) Aligern will want to talk to you – assure him that you are indeed the Changing God.
To accomplish the second part, you need to earn Aligern’s trust. So be nice to him, do his quest (see: Priest Restored achievement above), help people – and other beings – around you (e.g. he likes when you help the Foreman create offspring, when you help Loss-of-Self, when you close the Endless Gate), buy him new clothes in Miel Avest and be sure to have him with you when you talk to Aadiriis. If you did it right, in Miel Avest he should like you enough already for that achievement to pop. If not, butter him up some more :).

Callistege became fully human again.


You need to do Callistege’s quest first. So:

1. In Sagus Cliffs, take her with you to the Sanctuary of the Changing God in the Buried Crossroads so you can find a book. Give her that book and talk to her about it.
   
2. In the Valley of Dead Heroes, talk to Tantalum with Callistege in tow – he will give you a code for the tomb with a certain instrument. Go there and play it with Callistege.
   
3. Talk to Demeray and Obervich in the Chiurgeon Slump – Callistege will take a vaccine from them.

Now, you need to have Callistege in your party during the battle with the First Castoff in the Bloom. If you do, you will find Callistege in the Oasis Fathom during endgame. Wrench her out of her reverie, talk to her and convince her not to transfer her consciousness to the Datasphere, to stay human. Saying something along the lines of “Please, do it for me” works like a charm here (as she loves you by now and will do it gladly). She will take the vaccine.


Translated Callistege's consciousness into the datasphere.


You need to do Callistege’s quest first. So:

Wrench her out of her reverie, talk to her and help her transfer her consciousness to the Datasphere. She will become god-like entity of pure energy and disappear.

Powered up Erritis' nanites.


You need to do Erritis’ quest. So:

1. Talk to Erritis in the Valley of Dead Heroes and he will mention a tomb. Find it, examine it, take the farmer's stick and Erritis’ reflection will appear in your Labyrinth.
   
2. Talk to the reflection about the possibility of curing Erritis.
   
3. In the Bloom, go to the Old Slave Block and talk to Skoura.
   
4. Talk to Erritis’ reflection again, Audience will offer you a deal – they will stay and make Erritis stronger. Take the deal.

Freed Erritis from the Audience.


You need to do Erritis’ quest. So:

1. Talk to Erritis in the Valley of Dead Heroes and he will mention a tomb. Find it, examine it, take the farmer's stick and Erritis’ reflection will appear in your Labyrinth.
   
2. Talk to the reflection about the possibility of curing Erritis.
   
3. In the Bloom, go to the Old Slave Block and talk to Skoura.
   
4. Talk to Erritis’ reflection again and tell the Audience that you want him back to normal. They will agree to stop interfering with his life and simple watch what he does.

Now, you need to have Erritis in your party during the battle with the First Castoff in the Bloom. If you do, you will find Erritis in the Crefton Fathom during endgame. Wake him up, talk to him and you will be able to expel the Audience from him. If you do, Erritis will leave you and go back to his life as a farmer.

Helped Tybir make peace with Auvigne.


You need to do Tybir’s quest. So:

1. In the Memovira's Courtyard in the Bloom, talk to Dracogen with Tybir in tow. Than talk to Tybir to find out where Auvigne is.
   
2. Go on a search for Auvigne in the Little Nihliesh. You can talk to Tybir again here, he will point you in the right direction. Anyway, go talk to trash-diving Crimper.
   
3. Go to the Shrine of Great Chila and talk to Ragmin. Be sure to stop Tybir from killing the guy here, as that will make Auvigne mad and you'll not get the achievement (thanks to ventrex for this detail). Afterwards talk to Tybir.

Now, you need to have Tybir in your party during the battle with the First Castoff in the Bloom. If you do, you will find Tybir with Auvigne in the Oasis Fathom during endgame. Convince them to make peace and be together again.


Tybir made a dangerous deal with Tol Maguur.


Tol Maguur is a slaver (and a castoff) that can be found in the Circus Minor in Sagus Cliffs. She wants you to find Rhin for her – so go to Cliff’s Edge and find a girl hiding in a ruined house. Take Rhin back to Tol (Rhin will only agree to come with you if you don’t have a full party) and leave her there. Afterwards, come back to Tol with Tybir in your party and say you want Rhin back. Tybir will offer his… errr… services to Tol – which she will accept.

Matkina turned away from her isolation.


This one pops during the ending sequence. You need to be nice to Matkina and turn her to the more forgiving path.
So, always tell her to be more forgiving. The most important moments for Matkina (and for this achievement) happen in Miel Avest, so be sure to have her with you before you cross the portal in the tomb of the First Castoff. In Miel Avest, take Matkina’s side in a conversation with Paj. During conversation with Aadiriis reinforce the need for forgiveness and reconciliation. Now talk to Matkina and Melmoth Leviarm and make them forgive each other (this is absolutely necessary). Matkina will only be willing to forgive Melmoth if she likes you enough (so she respects your opinion) and if you reinforced the idea of forgiveness in her.
During the last conversation with the Sorrow, do not chose to merge all the castoffs into anybody (not into Miika, not into Matkina, not into the First, not into you – do not merge!). Chose to reject Sorrows authority and “kill” it or go on as before. During the end sequence, you will find out that Matkina founded a village and this achievement will pop.


Matkina became the new Memovira.


You need to have Matkina in your party during the last conversation with the Sorrow. Unlike other companions, you do not need to have Matkina in your party during a battle with the First Castoff for her to appear in the Clam afterwards. As she is a castoff, she will be pulled into the Labyrinth anyway and you will find her in the Village Fathom. Wake her up, talk to her and take her with you.
During the last conversation with the Sorrow, simply chose to merge all the castoffs into Matkina. During the end sequence you will find out that she became a new Memovira and this achievement will pop.

Rhin returned to her true home.


You can never dismiss Rhin from your party – if you try to part ways with her she will protest, but if you insist she will run off crying and you cannot get her back (even with the help of the Bronze Sphere).
In the Little Nihliesh in the Bloom, you need to talk to Aen-tozon. This nice guy has a Maw in his chest. You need to open that Maw – you can cut it open with Transdimensional Scalpel, offer one of your companions to eat (he won’t accept Rhin and Oom) or offer him Wondor, a guy that stands nearby (you need to lie to Wondor that you are indeed his friend). After you open the Maw for the first time, talk to Rhin and Aen-tozon to find out that he can send Rhin home. Open his Maw again (generally, same options as with the first time work but not all companions are accepted) and let Rhin go home.


Rhin stayed with the Last Castoff.


This one pops during the end sequence. Three things are needed here:

1. You need to make sure that Rhin likes you, so be nice to her, assure her that you are her new family, don’t be overly mean to people, don’t kill defenseless people, buy Coty and find him a job etc. You also can never dismiss Rhin from your party – if you try to part ways with her she will protest, but if you insist she will run off crying and you cannot get her back (even with the help of the Bronze Sphere).
   
2. You need to do Rhin’s quest. In the Little Nihliesh in the Bloom, you need to talk to Aen-tozon. This nice guy has a Maw in his chest. You need to open that Maw – you can cut it open with Transdimensional Scalpel, offer one of your companions to eat (he won’t accept Rhin and Ooom) or offer him Wondor, a guy that stands nearby (you need to lie to Wondor that you are indeed his friend). 3. During endgame, you will find Rhin in the Crefton Fathom – wake her up from here reverie and take her with you. During the last conversation with the Sorrow, chose to merge all the castoffs into yourself (or chose for things to remain as they are – I didn’t test this one but I make an educated guess that it will work as well). Other choices will not work as merging the castoffs into somebody else than yourself makes you effectively non-existent so Rhin can’t stay with you; and Rhin hates the “reject Sorrow’s authority” option, she will dislike you for choosing it and be unwilling to stay with you.

In the last conversation with your companions, when you ask them what they will do now, Rhin should say she is staying with you and the achievement will pop during endgame sequence.


Rhin found a new family through the House of Empty Time.


In the Circus Minor in Sagus Cliffs, you need to extensively talk to the boy Jherem. Eventually, you will notice that he uses strange obscure words and will get an option to Persuade him to tell you his story. Talk to his "parents" (Paja and Kellenor, standing nearby) about it and you can find out about the existence of the House of Empty Time as well as the name of its leader.
With Rhin in your party go to the Government Square and talk to Alcen Perie (she will only be there if you found out about her form Paja and Kellenor). Say that you want to find new family for Rhin and convince Rhin herself that this is for the best. Send Rhin though the archway into, hopefully, loving arms of new parents in some other time.

Slew the Nychthemeron.


You can do this during a quest “Beleazar and the Beast” which you get from Beleazar in the Circus Minor. Listen to Beleazar and do exactly what he wants. After teleporting the Nychthemeron to the Reef of the Fallen Worlds, go there and kill it. It is a rather tough beastie, so you can enlist some additional help if you feel like you need it (Aidan Sitabo in the Cliff’s Edge; Quijano del Toboso in the Caravanserai; great and powerful Varrenoth in the Underbelly).


Learn the truth of where Jherem came from.


In the Circus Minor in Sagus Cliffs, you need to extensively talk to the boy Jherem. Eventually, you will notice that he uses strange obscure words and will get an option to Persuade him to tell you his story. Talk to his parents (Paja and Kellenor, standing nearby) about it and you can find out how they adopted him.


Convince the Cult in Sagus Cliffs that you're the Changing God.


In the Circus Minor in Sagus Cliffs, you need to convince two leaders (Casmeen and Mimeon) of the Cult of the Changing God that you are indeed the object of their worship. Claim that you are the Changing God when you talk to them. You can use Deception to convince them (and you will immediately get the achievement) or you can prove the truth of what you claim by successfully fixing their clock.


Defeated the Adversary.


In the Fifth Eye Tavern in Cliff's Edge, talk to Dhama of the Bloom to find out about the Adversary lurking somewhere nearby. Go talk to Feriok the bartender and ask him about chancy drinks. Chose your poison – the black ichor. It will change your perception and you will be able to see Malaise standing in the corner near Dhama. Talk to Malaise and then point him out to Dhama. You have found the Adversary! Now you need to fight it, you can chose to do it alone or with the help of local psychics (after all, they have been trained for this).


Equipped every one of Jernaugh's upgrades.


Buy all the upgrades offered in Jernaugh's Chirurgical Parlor in the Cliff’s Edge. On a side note, if you kill the rogue Sticha during “Hidden Enemy” quest Lord Vuntgen will be so happy that he will effectively provide you with a discount for Jernaugh's goods. Installing them will still hurt the same though.


Became the main course in a Dendra O'hur feast.


Exit from the Cave of Last Words to the cliff (Cave becomes available to you during the quest to find Matkina). Interact with the cliff’s edge and jump off it. You will end up in your Labyrinth and wake up afterwards surrounded by Dendra O’Hur. Do not resist, allow their leader to touch you and allow the cult to eat you. You will die again, for knowledge!


Discovered Min of Tan Liang's embarrassing secret.


Talk to the Crippled Foreman in the Underbelly and start his quest “Foreman's Brood”. Do not fix the Foreman yourself, instead go to the Order of Truth and talk to Min of Tan Liang. He will mention Master Artisan, so go back to the Underbelly and talk to it (him?). He will have a juicy story for you. Go back to Min of Tan Liang and tell him all about it.


Found the Hall of Relics.


In the Sanctuary of the Changing God in Sagus Cliffs, interact with the mirror. Chose to examine the small oval mirror, then pluck the small sphere out of it. This is a relic you’ve been searching for.

Rescued the Memorialists in the Valley of Dead Heroes by failing to find them.


The second you land in the Valley you will be confronted by Klin'Kar and his fellow Children of the Endless Gate. He will ask you to find some missing Memorialists for him. Agree to that. There are some boards covering part of the wall behind you, check them and you will get an option of making a Perception test. Make sure you fail that test and go back to Klin'Kar to tell him you found nothing.


Undertook Tantalum's quest to explore the tombs of the Necropolis.


Talk to Tantalum and he will offer you a quest to read some tombstones inside Necropolis (claiming it will grant you great insight). Go and read over 50 tombstones (just interact with them) – any tombstones will do, big or small, located in any tomb. Come back to Tantalum.


Freed the Valley from the Children of the Endless Gate.


As soon as you land in the Valley of Dead Heroes, you will meet Klin'Kar. He will ask you to find some Memorialists for him. You can either agree and then fail to find them (fail the Perception test); agree, find them and then lie to Klin'Kar about it; or disagree and just kill Klin'Kar and his friends.
Afterwards, talk to Beltrax and Ronos Cai'Sul (the two Memorialists who were hiding from Klin'Kar) and agree to help them. They will give you a quest “Endless Horror” – you will need to defeat the Children of the Endless Gate and close the Endless Gate itself. Just do it in any way you chose to (any way to resolve this quest that ends in the Endless Gate being closed works for this achievement).


Helped Phoenix find the answer he seeks.


Talk to Phoenix and convince him to give you a note. You can do it by showing him that you are a thinker, a knowledge seeker in the conversation with him. In the note you will find a code of a tomb. Go there, examine the “headstone” and return to Phoenix.


Brought a new minnim pair to life.


One of the minnims pair in the Valley is black and it doesn’t work. Interact with the first one (south-west corner of the area) and allow it to bond with you. Interact with its counterpart near the entrance to the Necropolis and chose to fulfill its need. This will fix the minnims pair and you will be able to travel though them.


Brought peace to Choi's spirit.


To the left of the entrance to the Necropolis there is a big crystal. Interact with it to start the quest “The Severed Child”. You will need to visit several tombs and step into Inifere's mere.

1. Fist, talk to Motley (or read the note found on his corpse) to find the location of a tomb with Oddwald. Ask Oddwald about Choi and he will give you location of her tomb.
   
2. Go there, examine the pillar and find out that Choi’s last name was Cai'Sul. So off we go to talk to Ronos Cai'Sul outside in the Valley. He will give you his tomb code.
   
3. Go there and investigate the “headstone”. You will get the code to Marcysa’s tomb (which is the same as a tomb with the Endless Gate).
   
4. Go there and investigate one of the structures to find a Twisted Metal Merecaster. This is Inifere’s merecaster.
   
5. Go though the Endless Gate and get to Inifere. Persuade or Intimidate him into unlocking the merecaster for you. Once in the mere, you will get a chance at some point to ask Inifere to release Choi’s soul to you (Persuasion or Anamnesis). This will unlock Choi’s reflection in the Calm.
   
6. After you are done with the Endless Gate, revisit the Cai'Sul tomb and Choi’s tomb and reexamine stuff in them. Finally, talk to Ronos Cai’Sul in the Valley again.

Purchased a slave.


In the Memovira's Courtyard, buy Coty from slave auctioneer Parsim Flint.


Returned the lascars to their home.


Lascars have been waiting for a ship to take them home for thousands of years. You will need to help them find home.
We start in the Little Nihliesh. Search though trash near Crimper to find a helmet. Clean it, put it on and see what it recorded. Also here, Gar-Koto will give you a task to open a newly-formed Maw – do it for him. The Maw leads to the Lost Anchorage.
Note! Before you go through to the Lost Anchorage, talk to Dracogen and find out that he would like to get his hands on the Core. Without that, the tour of the ship will be unavailable. (Thanks to DJ Raptor for this information).
In the Lost Anchorage, talk to Captain Janur but do not give him the helmet. You can even tell him about it but afterwards choose to keep it. You will need to get to the Cortex and unlock it to analyze the data on the helmet. Examine the door leading to the Cortex to find out that it is off-limits. Luckily Genjes, a guy standing near the door, can offer you a tour of the ship – starting the tour initiates Crysis.
To pull the Cortex heist off you will need at least 3 people. First one takes the tour, follows Genjes, asks him questions and keeps him busy – no special skills needed here. Second one opens the door to the Cortex and than proceeds to start its removal process – this is made easier with some Lore checks. Third one stays at the console in the center and confirms each stage of removal – some Speed and Quick Fingers skill are very useful here.
After the third stage of Cortex removal is done, you can analyze the helmet’s data. And lo and behold, it turns out that Lascars are already home! Do not take the Cortex and run away with it. Instead, talk to Captain Janur with any party member and tell him what you found. He will run to confirm it, be overjoyed, give you the Cortex, promise to name his children after you, pack up his people and leave the Lost Anchorage. Job well done.

Variant (thanks to ab.er.rant): Alternatively after the third stage of removal is done, you can take the Cortex with you. Still, do not run away with it (that would end the Crysis) but talk to the Captain and tell her what you found. Captain will try to check up on your information and find that the Cortex is missing. If you admit the theft and return the Cortex to him, events will proceed as described above and achievement will unlock.


Found the murdens' treasure room


The treasure room is in the Old Slave Block, behind the closed door. When you interact with the door, you will talk to Shinwise who has been locked inside. Unlock the door. Now you have two choices:

1. Push Shinwise back into the room he was locked in. He will be devoured by the Maw leading to the Murdens’ Treasure Room and it will open. After he is eaten, you can safely enter and go into the treasure room.
   
2. Let Shinwise go. If you do that, the room behind the door will have several Corpuscular Maws for you to fight. The Maw will open after you defeat the Corpuscular Maws. I guess it considers that act murder enough.

Defeated Waits-for-Prey in combat.


In the Memovira's Courtyard, challenge Waits-for-Prey and kill him in battle. If you are considered a predator by the Bloom (if you killed a lot of people/murdens/mutants there), he will want to fight you. If you are not considered a predator, you will have to threaten him into fighting you.


Died by drinking too much Bloom juice.


There are two pools filled with Bloom Juice – one in the Memovira's Courtyard and one in the Vast Interior. Drinking from them once in a day will give you a buff. But drink from it a second time in a row (or third, or fourth etc.– depending on how much might your character has) and it will kill you.


Coty betrayed the First on your behalf.


In the Memovira's Courtyard, buy Coty from slave auctioneer Parsim Flint. Talk to him and tell him that you want to free him. Now you will need to find him a job. Talk to Brusca, also found in the Memovira's Courtyard, and convince her to take Coty on as a guard. If you are not particularly persuasive, you can make things easier by agreeing to pay for Coty’s equipment and/or buying essence of a killer from Sheen (in the Chiurgeon Slump) to make Coty more suitable for the job.
During the fight with the First Castoff, Coty will betray his employer and fight on your side.

Became the new Memovira.


As I wrote a pretty extensive description here, this achievements gets its own section.
Only your actions in the Bloom matter for this one. You basically need to make the Bloom love you and want to bond with you. To achieve it, you need to be on your best (or worst, depending on the point of view) behavior in the Bloom.

Let’s start with what you CAN NEVER EVER do:

• Do not use Tidal Surge in the Bloom. Especially not on the Bloom’s tongues.
  
• Do not use the Transdimensional Scalpel. Especially never ever use it to cut open a maw.
  It, however, seems very important for the achievement to craft the scalpel and than give it to Observant Speck at the Shrine of Great Chila, trade it for a merecaster. So do that! (thanks to [OP]JnBs, TheSlacker, and Zarddin for more details on the scalpel).
  
• Do not put yourself in a situation when you’d have to fight Corpuscular Maws. Exception (thanks to Zarddin): If you do all the stuff Bloom likes and use Deception and Intimidation all the time, you can go in maw in Gullet to the Chamber of Bones and fight Corpuscular Maws, use tide on the dragon brain and go in the maw there.

And now what you SHOULD do. You do not have to do exactly everything on the list below (you can safely ignore a thing or two, possibly even more but that I didn't test personally. For example, I did not do the Qianne thingy and rescued one of the Patrols and Bloom still wanted to hug me). But the more you do, the more Bloom will love you; and as a result your Memovira status will be more assured:

• In the Memovira's Courtyard, force Qianne to give you money (not sure how to do that, I only read you can and was never able to confirm it personally) and to let you sleep at her place for free (before you finish her quest, ask her if you could rest at her place and lie that you have no money).
  
• In the Memovira's Courtyard, challenge Waits-for-Prey and kill him in battle. If you are considered a predator by the Bloom (if you killed a lot of people/murdens/mutants there), he will want to fight you. If you are not considered a predator, you will have to threaten him into fighting you. Both ways are good.
  
• In the Memovira's Courtyard, finish quest “Preservation of Beauty” given by the Decanted. It does not matter who exactly you give to him as long as you bring him 3 people. Note that Decanted will only appear after you sleep once in the Bloom.
  
• In the Memovira's Courtyard, look under Skaydi’s scarf and talk to her about it. Tell her to stop fighting and give in to the Bloom.
  
• In the Vast Interior, talk to Sundermun the Younger and the Elder and then kill them (they make stuff out of Bloom flesh, Bloom hates them). You can kill them by talking to the Younger one after you already know they are both the same person and asking “Hey, so what would happen if I killed you...?" You can safely buy stuff from Sundermun the Elder before you kill them and use it (I wore the awesome armor) – Bloom does not care about that.
  
• In the Vast Interior, agree to help Inkpot – kill Ioxu and shut down his machines.
  
• In the Vast Interior, talk to the merchants that are trying to get to Ascension. Their cart will start to sink into the Bloom at some point (do not tell them you found the Maw leading to Ascencion if you find it before their cart starts to sink or they will just go away) – do not help them pull it out. After you rest few times, Bloom will swallow the cart and be happy.
  
• In the Shrine of Great Chila, give yourself (if you are considered a predator), Matkina, head of Waits-for-Prey or a Jar of Iron Wind to the Maw.
  
• At the Shrine of Great Chila, trade the Transdimensional Scalpel for a merecaster. Make sure you do this one!
  
• In the Chiurgeon Slump, convince Artaglio to give himself to the Maw.
  
• In the Little Nihliesh, convince Herja (or Aligern) to give herself (himself) to the Maw.
  
• In the Little Nihliesh, side with the mutants and kill Memovira Patrol.
  
• In the Little Nihliesh, feed your companion (or two if you have Rhin with you) or Wondor to Aen-tozon.
  
• In the Little Nihliesh, kill Vrung.
  
• In Old Slave Block, do not let Shinwise go. Push him back into the room he was locked in. That will open the Maw. This is important if you wanna get to the Murdens’ Treasure Room without angering the Bloom (if you let Shinwise go, room will be filled with Corpuscular Maws you would have to fight to proceed).
  
• In the Old Slave Block, get to the Murden’s Treasure Room and loot it.
  
• In the Old Slave Block, kill the Murdens.
  
• In the Old Slave Block, do not help the Memovira Patrol escape – you can get them killed by pretending to help them and lying to them that the way is clear for additional Bloom-love points.
  
• In the Trade Post, absorb the memories of dead people while interacting with the Bloom tongues.
  
• In the Gullet, kill everybody you can kill (Do not send the fighting reflections away with help of Bloom tongues, just fight them).
  
• In the Gullet, open the Maw by convincing Siowan to offer himself to it. DO NOT enter the Maw – it leads to the Chamber of Bones where you’d have to fight Corpuscular Maws. However, if you did all the stuff Bloom loves, used Deception and Intimidation a lot - you can go in and fight. Bloom will be forgiving here (thanks to Zarddin for the new info).
  
• Anywhere in the Bloom, allow the Bloom tongues to feed on your memories (Important, I think).
  
• Anywhere in the Bloom, use Deception, Intimidation and outright lie to everyone.

When you descend to the Nethermost Cavity, you will see immediately if your efforts thus far have been successful. There will be no hostile Corpuscular Maws here. If you freed Abykos from the cyst in the Vast Interior, he will be here fighting the Maws – kill Abykos. If you did not free him (I didn’t, after all Bloom imprisoned him for a reason, right?), the Nethermost Cavity will be empty.
When you get to the Bloom Heart and interact with it, it will happily tell you everything, whisper “Memovira” in your ear and attempt to bond with you. Let it.

Ended your life before it truly began.


At the start of a game, before you even get to character creation, you are falling from the moon. During the fall, chose to dive down and keep gaining speed. The fall will kill you. Permanently.


Became The Changing God.


At the end of the game, just before the conversation with the Sorrow, Specter appears after you finish the fist mere. Your dominant Tides at this point have to be Silver and Blue (in any order). This is most easily achieved by keeping Oom in your party during the game – when you travel with Oom, you can see how certain conversation options/actions will affect your Tides. But of course you can do it without Oom by acting as the Changing God would – wanting power, recognition, information, knowledge at all cost and having little regard for anyone else.
While talking to Specter, convince him that he is just a copy, that you are more Changing God than he ever was and agree to merge with him.


Found all Merecasters.


You do not need to actually enter the meres, just find the merecasters. You can also safely sell them after you find them (weather you use them or not), it will still count.

• Tash's Merecaster – can't miss it as you get it in the course of the main quest when you meet Matkina.
  
• Twisted Metal Merecaster – in Necropolis, in Marcysa's tomb (1254). Found in one of the bloody containers. To be able to find it, you need to be able to read the inscription there. And that you can achieve only while coming to Marcysa's tomb during the quest “Severed Child”.
  
• Electrostatic Merecaster – in Necropolis, in Oddwald's tomb (5143). Found in Oddwald's box of crap (he will protest when you try to take it but he will not turn hostile).
  
• Floral Merecaster – in Necropolis, Najma's tomb (4135). Found by examining Najma's gravestone.
  
• Circulating Merecaster – in Necropolis, you get it from Hiro. You meet Hiro in a random tomb after you have explored enough of them. Ask him what interesting things he has found and he will give you the merecaster.
  
• Zerian's Merecaster – can't miss it as you get it in the course of the main quest in Miel Avest.
  
• Kaleidoscopic Merecaster – found on a corpse in the Sanctuary of Miel Avest during the confrontation with the Sorrow. The corpse is near where Andronus Sandhand and Raima Cyro (or only one of them if one left Miel Avest earlier) are fighting the Sorrow Fragment at the begining.
  
• Astronomic Merecaster – found in the Murden's Treasure Room in the Old Slave Block.
  
• Ovoid Merecaster – can be acquired from Dracogen (Memovira's Courtyard, the Bloom). Dracogen is interested in two items: Magmatic Annulet and Navigational Cortex. To get the merecaster, you will need both those items. You can give him either one as part of the main quest “Dracogen's Price” and then trade the other for the merecaster.
  
• Frictionless Merecaster – found during main quest "Into the Depths". Mazzof the Lost either gives it to you or leaves it for you in the Bloom Heart.
  
• Azure Steel Merecaster – found in the Shrine of Great Chila in the Bloom. You will need to talk to Observant Speck here and ask her about the Changing God visiting and his offering. If your dominant Tide is Silver, she will just give you the merecaster (thanks to Mysti_Fogg for this information). If not, examine the altar – merecaster is there. You can steal or trade Transdimensional Scalpel for it.

Acquired one too many cyphers.


Equip a cypher in every available slot you have. As soon as you put in the last one, you will explode. This will really kill you.


Woke up in the Calm after dying.


Just die and appear in your Labyrinth in the Calm. You can die in many ways but the first easily available way (in my opinion) is go to the Fifth Eye Tavern in the Cliff’s Edge and order some pink sludge from Feriok.


Unlocked all elements in the Calm.


This one does not pop right away when you gather everything. You will only get it when you enter the Calm after the battle with the First Castoff.
You will need to open three Fathoms:

• The Clock Fathom – opened when you attempt to fix the clock in the Circus Minor in Sagus Cliffs during “Fallen To Earth” quest and interact with three castoffs stuck inside.
  
• The Sorrow’s Fathom – opened during “Infestation” quest which you will get automatically after you finish the “A Wrested Mind” quest.
  
• The Daughter’s Fathom – opened during “Ashen Imitations” quest. You start it by talking to the Ghostly Woman in the Fifth Eye Tavern in the Cliff’s Edge and allowing her to strangle you. Finish the quest to populate the Fathom (women you need to find: Kiyatawa in the Underbelly; Sigyn in the Governement Square; Avina, Seria and Loss-of-self in the Cliff's Edge).

You will need to gather reflections:

• Nychtemeron – Circus Minor in Sagus Cliffs. You will need to fail to fix the clock for the Cult of the Changing God. This will bring night time into the Circus Minor and you will be able to talk to Nychtemeron. He will ask you to set him free – do so.
  
• Seria – talk to Zaofi the Sculptor in the Circus Minor to get a quest “The Sorrow's Prey”. Go check out the victim’s house in the Cliff’s Edge. This will make Seria’s reflection appear in the Calm. To communicate with her, you will need to get he puzzle box. Talk to the Changing God cultists (Aitasii, Barant and Guromo) standing near the victim’s house and they will direct you to Avina (also found in Cliff’s Edge). You can convince her to give you the puzzle box which you can afterwards show to Seria in the Calm.
  
• Erritis – his reflection will appear in the Calm after you find his tomb in the Valley of Dead Heroes, examine it and pick up his farmer’s stick.
  
• Choi – you need to finish “The Severed Child” and bring peace to Choi. See “Peace Bringer” achievement in the Valley of Dead heroes section for details.
  
• Inifere – you need to get his merecaster, convince him to unlock it for you and enter the mere (See “Peace Bringer” achievement in the Valley of Dead heroes section for details). During the mere, make sure that Inifere survives (he will not appear as a reflection if he dies in the mere). To do that, make Inifere sit on the throne and wait for the Sorrow to come. And only then use the throne’s power to stymie the Sorrow. Do not make Inifere get up, open the door and confront the Sorrow directly – he will die. Afterwards talk to Inifere, he will kill himself and appear in the Calm.
  
• Artaglio – Chiurgeon Slump in the Bloom. Convince him to give himself to the Maw. Afterwards you meet him in the Gullet. You can convince him to join your mind or he can just run into you on his own volition.
  
• Catena Intelligence – crashed catena in the Little Nihliesh in the Bloom. Talk to the passengers and Persuade them that you can store them in your mind. You will need to succeed in Anamnesis to pull this off.

Reached maximum character level.


Self-explanatory – just reach Tier 6 (thanks to Psicraft and WinuX for the correct information).
