Introduction to FSW modding
This guide will show you step-by-step how to set up the ability to use a VR Headset within Flight Sim World. This can be achieved with your phone using Google Cardboard or any other compatible head mount on both Android and iOS! Results will vary depending on your mobile's capabilities.

I also have a video tutorial on how to set up this system. While the video was originally aimed at FSX, THIS WILL WORK EXACTLY THE SAME WAY in FSW with Sim Connect being the exact same module.
You will also require two programs to install, an Android/iPhone device and £10/$13.
Trinus VR - https://www.trinusvirtualreality.com/
FaceTrackNoIR - http://facetracknoir.sourceforge.net/home/default.htm

(Do note that Trinus VR does have a trial mode. This means that you can test this out for free before comitting to any purchases!)
Setting up the VR Headset
The first thing you will want to do is purchase and install all of the software. This is a cheap process, but if flying VR is important to you, then this is only a small sacrifice to be made. Head over to the Trinus VR website, download and install the free software.

Next, head over to FaceTrackNoIR, purchase and install the program from their website - This will cost you £2.50/$3.25.

After you have installed both desktop programs, it is time to install the mobile applications. This is compatible with both Android and iPhone devices, meaning nobody (except the minority Windows Phone users) will be left out.

Android FREE TRIAL - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.loxai.trinus.test
Android FULL VERSION - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.loxai.trinus.full
iPhone BOTH - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/trinusvr/id1101683353

Install the apps and you are done.
Setting up Trinus VR
Once you have installed the programs, load up Trinus VR first. This is how you will connect your phone to the computer, and how the head tracking will work within the simulator.

You will need to go to the following pages and make sure that each of these settings are as follows. (BOLD options are crucial, others can be adjusted)

Main:
- Head mount = Custom_Any
- Image Scale = High
- Capture Mode = Compatible
- Sensor Mode = FTNoIR/OT Reditect
(If you have Nvidia Graphics, Nvidia Optimised is a good option to use.)

Network:
- Sensor Port = 5555
(This is dependent on how you connect Trinus VR to your phone.)

Video:
- Capture Cursor = Yes/No
- Motion Boost = Yes
- Max Frame Rate = 70
- DPI Fix = No
- Queue Frames = Yes
- Fake3D = Enabled
- Fake Roll = Yes

Sensors:
Order = [Y],

, [R] (Play around with this as Pitch and Roll sometimes change over!)
Sensor Prediction = 0/OFF
Tracking Reset = [Home]

Once you have set up the following, you are sorted with Trinus VR and can now move onto FaceTrackNoIT. To activate, press the triangle on the lower right of the program, and the same option will be on the mobile app.

Setting up FaceTrackNoIR
Open up FaceTrackNoIR. This will be used to port the phone sensor data over to Flight Sim World (and other games too!). In order for this to work, you will need the following settings to be active.

First of all, set the 'Tracker Source(1st = Master)' option to 'FaceTrackNoIR UDP'. Open up the settings and ensure that each option is ticked. The Receiving Port-number also need to be at 5556. This is important as Trinus VR will add 1 to the outgoing port you set. As long as it's 5555 to 5556 or any other number combination +1, you will be okay. Save this menu and close it.

You can change the filter settings based on how sensitive the headset will be. For the more basic user use the EWMA filters while the more advanced user who knows their curves can try out the Accela Filter.

At the top, there is an option for 'Shortkeys'. Change the option for 'CENTRE' to be [Home], the same as set in Trinus VR. This will be how you re-center the sensors if they start to mess up.

Finally, set the Game Protocols to FSX SimConnect and FreeTrack 2.1. This will enable Flight Sim World (and any other game) to be able to use the VR Headset you have set up!

Press [Start!], and you are good to go.
Launching FSW
Once everything is completed, you can load up the simulator in exactly the same way as before. Select an aircraft, airport and weather, start flight and just look around! Once you have flown enough using this method, you will never want to turn back, and until Dovetail Games adds native VR Support to the game? Then this is as good as you are gonna get!

As mentioned at the start, this should work with no problems whatsoever as there is no problem in the compiling of any scenery in x32 or x64 bit. If you did learn from this tutorial, don't forget to give it a thumbs up and also share this out with other users! Do also check me out in YouTube, as I do numerous flight simulator videos and whenever I learn a new secret or trick, I generally will make a video explaining how to get it working for you guys.
