FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH CRIMSON COURT AND COLOR OF MADNESS

Heroes Unchained rebalances many stats and skills of each classes: the goal is to offer more variety by buffing the "useless" abilities while also giving every class a more unique aspect.

This mod does not intend to break the game but on the contrary to make it more balanced by creating new skill and classes synergies.

Feedback and ideas are greatly appreciated!

Changes Summary

2 different playstyles!
The good old healer/debuffer (no changes) and a new DMG playstyle!

404 Artorias not found: the Occultist deals more DMG but at a great cost! (hint: bring extra torches)

it is a good balance mod :) But it is a little tooo punishing to need to use multiple torches just because I wanted to attack once

I doubt that you didn't play blood moon or darkest difficulty for even once. i'm sorry to say this but i'm afraid you don't understand the role Occultist plays in this game at all

OMG how could you remove the stunning skill and simply make it an AOE?! It just ruins this character! what a pity! it could have been a much better mod!

Loosing the ability to reduce PROT makes this rework not worth it for me. 'Cause that's pretty much all I ever use my occultist for xP

If anyone wants to edit the file and add back the stun or adjust the dark values...
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\929143354\heroes\occultist
go there and open the file occultist.info.darkest in notepad and just search for the skill name Hands from the Abyss and make the level 0 version of the skill look like so.

combat_skill: .id "hands_from_abyss" .level 0 .type "ranged" .atk 80% .dmg -50% .crit 5% .launch 123 .target ~1234 .is_crit_valid True .effect "Eldritch Killer 1" "UcdOccAbyssCurse 1" .effect "Abyssal Stun 1" "UcdDarkness 1"

As you can see, you are just adding .effect "Abyssal Stun 1" to it.
For each level of the skill you will do this and just increase the 1 to a 2 and so on... with the level 4 version of the skill being a .effect "Abyssal Stun 5"

As for tweaking the dark value, just search for UcdDarkness and change the value to a 1
so for example.... "UcdDarkness 1" this will cause the skill to lower the torch light -5 for example

At the very least can you add the stun back to the skill Hands from the Abyss or explain how it can be added back for those of us who want it back please?
