High-res 6 Series gauges for RJL's Scania R Series, T Series, & Streamline mods (available separately):

RJL Scania G, R, R 4-series & Streamline from Steam Workshop or the SCS forums[forum.scssoft.com]

and/or

RJL Scania T & T 4-series from Steam Workshop or the SCS forums[forum.scssoft.com].


This mod only affects RJL truck mods, and only when equipped with most right-hand drive (UK) dashboards. This mod does not work with vanilla (default) SCS trucks. Other versions for the vanilla SCS trucks, as well as versions with dual-scale speedometers (both km/h and mph in a single gauge) are available. Compatible with most or all dashboard computer mods (not included).

Affects the following dashboards:
  • (5 series) G1/R1/T1 old gauges Standard UK
  • (5 series) G1/R1/T1 old gauges Exclusive UK
  • (6 series) G2/R2/T2 old panel Exclusive UK
  • (6 series) G2/R2/T2 Standard UK
  • (6 series) G2/R2/T2 Exclusive UK
  • (6 series) R2/T2 Exclusive V8 UK
  • (6 series) R2/T2 Exclusive V8 Custom UK

Does NOT affect the following:

Future updates may include support for more dashboard variants.

Place this mod in a priority above all of your installed RJL Scania truck mods.

This mod is not compatible with TruckersMP.

All textures by lonestranger and SCS. Animations by nfshp253, lonestranger, and SCS. Compatibility for RJL trucks initiated by oreomeister.

Also keep in mind that all of my dual-scale speedometers have MPH in the larger outer ring and km/h in the smaller inner ring. This is due to the fact they're modelled after photos of real Scania gauges I found online that are arranged this way. At the time, I hadn't found any that were primarily MPH.

3. Sorry, I did have the description mixed up. This particular mod doesn't affect LEFT hand drive dashboards.

@BritishTrainspotting 1. Yes, it seems to still function as far as I can see by my own re-testing today, although I've had other reports of my similar RJL gauge longer working. I'm not actively modding anymore and I'm unable to repair it if it's not working.

2. The RJL trucks include three different gauge designs as part of several different interior choices in the truck configurator, but this mod replaces only two of them (one of the ones with orange needles, and the only one with red needles). The interiors with names with "new gauges" are unaffected by this mod and won't have dual gauges. You'll need to choose something like T1 old gauges Standard UK, T2 Standard UK, T2 old panel Standard UK, T1 old gauges Exclusive UK, T2 Exclusive UK, etc. I realize these names are different than what I put in the description above. They were changed in the RJL mod itself after I wrote the description.

uh, the description says it doesn't affect right hand drive dashboards, but right-hand drive IS what the UK uses, don't you mean left hand drive or did you get it mixed up?

My Scania T 4-series does not have a dual guage, it only has a KPH gauge which is quite confusing to drive in the UK. Maybe this is how they're meant to be, but could you make a mod that changes this if so? Or update this one if it is meant to have a dual gauge.
