Climbing steep surfaces in LMS can be a challenge if you don't know the proper technique. However simple it is, if you don't know how you won't get far.

You jump and move forward slightly. That’s it! It is important to note though, this is a somewhat delicate and slow process. You can’t hold W and expect this to work. You need to first jump and then press it shortly and quickly. With many iterations of this you will slowly climb your way to the top.

You might be wondering what the point of knowing this is except for being one of the "cool kids" who can climb the lampposts while waiting. This is a valuable skill to learn for during the game if you want to win. There will come a time when you need to get up a cliff, but it is too steep to simply run up. Using this technique will work allowing you to achieve an easier victory.
